Today was my only day off this week, so I cleaned my room, rested and read a book. Oh and I cooked.
Scrambled eggs with onions and garlic and...
Mushroom with garlic, topped with parsley. This has gotta be my favourite dish out of the very few recipes I (only) recently learned to cook lol. And I think I overate. I feel dizzy now having eaten too much. Which is ironic cause I learned to cook vegetarian recipes for the main purpose of staying healthy and keeping my weight down, in addition to my undying love for vegetables. I should re-evaluate my decisions. Anyway, I think I cooked this well. I may be biased. But I actually liked it. It was also easy to cook. I'd say I'd done only 10% preparation and 90% presentation. Lol.
I feel like I can now feed five thousand people.
Oh this was hmm a few days ago, when I went biking to the train station. I thought the sky looked beautiful. My instagram filter didn't do it justice.

Spotted this turtle, it was near a hole that might have been a nest. Or it could have been an arbitrary hole.

i came so close to stepping on the snake, as soon as I realized what I was looking at, I grabbed my dog and ran backwards. My sister had no clue why I was spooked and just froze where she was. Then we recovered enough to snap some phone pics

Today I officially became a member of my church! I had to give a testimony, which was EXTREMELY difficult for me; the only time I feel comfortable addressing a group of people is when I'm doing so in song. I could've sang something for them, but I felt that I should begin the year by facing my fear instead of running from it. I was feeling intense anxiety while I was speaking, but I was approached by several people afterwards telling me that they were shocked that I struggle with anxiety; apparently I spoke beautifully and with a lot of confidence. I didn't feel like I did, but it was cool that people told me that. Just proof to me that God was there with me while I was facing that fear. And I not only faced it; I stomped all over it!!
