What did you get for Christmas? (participation is 100% voluntary.. and pics are again worth extra points!) :)

I'll start. I got...

- A cool letter "G" that my niece made for me out of some kind of colorful beads.
- A couple of chrome license plate frames. One says "roadster" (for the convertible), the other is blank but it has a dark chrome/gunmetal finish.
- An o'neill brand t-shirt (it's a popular surfer brand of clothing)
- A usb car charger

I hope everyone had a good Christmas.

(I would've posted pics but its the middle of the night and I don't feel like taking pictures right now)

Ah, Christmas.

I spent the day hand-scrubbing my Mom's massive wooden floor (at her request) and eating frozen dinners. In my family, holidays are a great time to get more work done.

One of these days, I'm going to crash someone ELSE'S Christmas, and we're going to feast on homemade food and drink hot cocoa by a fire and watch the snow fall down and go on a sleigh ride... and we're going to turn it into a 3-day party... One of these years I'm determined to have an EPIC Christmas that lasts more than just a day or an hour. But I just keep telling myself, "Maybe next year..."

On the bright side, after all the work was done, we went to drive around and look at people's Christmas light displays, which is one of my very favorite holiday things to do. :)

I can't wait for New Year's. I'll probably be mopping.

Lots of nice stuff

one of the coolest: One of those "bean bag" thingies to heat in the microwave and put on stiff muscles.
The fabric had Christian- themed words on it :)

What did I receive for Christmas? Peace, salvation, forgiveness, love and grace from my Heavenly Father. Well-wishes from both of my parents (still alive, though physically distant), my kids (both alive and doing well, though physically and emotionally distant), only brother and sis-in-law (physically distant), and a few friends. Lunch with a good friend and three of his four adult kids. No stuff though.
