I saw on the news that New York City had a record high temperature of 66 degrees on Christmas day. It was over 70 degrees on Christmas Eve there. People were walking down the street wearing shorts. The temperature was only in the 40's on Christmas day where I live in Missouri.

Mistake #1.... Putting any kind of animal of any sort in your back pocket... Don't you know they need water? Lol

The other day I got the sweetest gift ever. I was in the kitchen doing some baking when my phone started ringing, it was one of my good friends. So here I was with a whisk and bowl with my phone on my shoulder when I heard her little boy say they wanted to talk to me. She handed him the phone and said, I love you. It just blessed my heart. It's amazing how children can give you the most cherished present with just three words.

So, I'm asleep.... And I hear my husband start to not breath.. (He wears a CPAP MASK) and I ask him to turn it on cause he isn't breathing... He tries to turn it on... I get up.. Flip the light switch and low and behold.... -_- we don't have power....

Ive never experienced this before... Not having any power... And quite Frankly; I'm super annoyed right now... No clue when we lost power... And the sad part is... The worst of the storm hasn't even hit us yet... >.<

Please keep me and my husband in your prayers... Until we get our power back on... So I don't lose my mind... Or sleep for that matter...
