so many pairs of rose colored glasses shall be battered,.....
soon heaven shall open and pour out the latter-rain...

mean while, many mules teach fools man's tradition.....

Everything you wanted to know about the Emergent Church Movement. Long video, but very well done. This is where Hyper-Grace comes from.

the emergent church teach everyone is going to heaven. I thought people understood this. Christ is not even a focal point.

That's true, but gnostics turn it to crap (which is pretty cheap).
well they reject the cross as the means of it.. So they reject the true payment. Christ is a side note. as with most licentious gospel or churches.. That's why you do not see a lot of them, most are not even considered churches,

soon comes -

false, man, made, humor/mocking will and can never negate God's Holy Truth -
so much is expected of those of us who worship The King,
old man's ways are an abomination and therefore must be cast away......

Here is a teaching on Jude 4..on "turning the grace of God"...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fIqZ5sPSEg
Prince jumps right off on the wrong track quoting Jude 1:3-4 equating the word 'faith' as in justification by faith. In reality 'faith' in that passage is used as 'the body of teaching' that was once for all delivered to the saints.

For those who continue to follow Prince and his false teachings, I feel sorry for you.

Jud 1:3-4 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. (4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh, you people. "Someone told me something.... they then gave it a label.... now I hate it."

"What is it? Uh, I really have no idea, but it's whatever they said it was.... and they told me it was bad. So, I believe that."

Even Emergents can't define themselves...that's pretty sad, if not bad.
I hope you know what you believe and why.

There is only one faith....

Romans 1:4-5 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord,
[SUP]5 [/SUP] through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake,

Romans 16:25-26 (NASB)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past,
[SUP]26 [/SUP] but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;

1 Timothy 6:12 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Romans 4:13 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Well, they even question heaven, that is their earmark..question traditional teaching...have a dialogue but often it ends in confusion...

Etymology of the word 'confusion'...

confusion (n.)
late 13c., "overthrow, ruin," from Old French confusion (11c.) "disorder, confusion, shame," from Latin confusionem (nominative confusio) "a mingling, mixing, blending; confusion, disorder," noun of action from confundere "to pour together," also "to confuse" (see confound). Sense of "a putting to shame" (a sort of mental "overthrow") is late 14c. in English, while that of "mental perplexity" is from 1590s.

This is what happens when absolutes are dropped.

That kind of rigid, linear thinking puts me in mind of something the man who began our denomination said about trying to find someplace that emulated Jesus when he first became a Christian and was trying to find Jesus' ethics in the modern church.

At one of the churches he and his family attended, he asked a man with a name-tag, probably an usher, "When does it happen?" "When do we get to do it?"

The man asked him what he meant.

He answered, "Why, all those things that happened in the Bible... the healing of the sick, and all those other miracles."

The 'usher' said: "Oh, we BELIEVE in them, we just don't DO any of those things."

John, much like these wandering "Emergents", didn't really know exactly what he was looking for...... but he sure knew he wasn't seeing it anywhere in any of the mainstream churches he attended.

Prince was using faith in the sense of justification by faith. Jude is using it as the body of teaching handed down by the apostles and prophets. I hope Prince hasn't blinded you so much you can't see the difference.

There are tons of scriptures that describe what the "faith" is..it's in the gospel..

Romans 1:16-17 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

Where is this "body of teaching" scripture? which says that is what "the faith" is?...the body of teaching could be go to church on sunday..or don't drink coffee..or any other religious stuff..

Strawman. But another example where experience is king. Wimbur is not my role model by any stretch.
"Rigid linear thinking" at least has something to be confident in than mushy, foggy, changing daily thought.

I won't call you what I am thinking right now. But I WILL ask that you look up the SOF of any denomination before you repeat such a __________ statement. My denomination has a very clear (and quite lengthy) one, while this "Emergent" movement seems not to claim they are a denomination.
