Lol hey I never said I'm the best or anything, just good enough that I've won much more than I lost. I ain't played for over a year though like I said, I know I am all rusty. You know the weird thing is I can't play for crap online. Something about the physical board helps me see the moves farther in advance. I just overlook too much on the computer.

So! Donald Trumps RCP average is interesting. It also looks like he's trouncing Carson. Cruz appears to be going all-in for Iowa and Rubio in New Hampshire.
I'm not sure if I buy the narrative that those two are going to end up being the final two choices. Some "establishment" Republicans are starting to see Cruz as their last best hope at trouncing Trump. It's pretty evident in his fundraising numbers last quarter.
That said, I have not checked his FEC reports. Those are probably an interesting read.

Lol they're all pawns for us to move as we please across the board.
I figure we sacrifice Trump in order to take out Hillary's credibility with Democrats and undermine her own base. See a lot of people in America don't like Trump at all (for little wonder), and Hillary and Trump are great friends. Hillary all ready showed her intentions early on to liken any GOPer to Trump knowing it will undermine swing voter and minority support in the GOP. A crafty strategy indeed, but there's still a chance to catch her in her own craft.

If we defeat Trump, and seeing as Hillary is the most connected with Trump of anyone of both parties then we can turn her own stratagem against her and undermine confidence in her among swing voters and even her own base.
i learned the game at 5. Resigning is one thing, losing another thing, but you forfeit by making an illegal move. Near chess champ in college...hardly played since then.
Nice, my carnal pops taught me in first grade, so about the same age. Took me about til 3rd-4th grade to be able to beat him regularly. I only did the chess club in 6th grade, but it wasn't that big. Have played a lot of folks around here though. Aside from just entertainment factor, is a good way to meet and talk to people you might not normally talk to. A lot of the best chess players I've played are people I'd totally never would have thought were good at chess.
I play daily against the computer at level 6. The computer is way too good at chess for me to beat without cheating. I might do a little better if I wasn't listening to music or watching television or viewing this forum while trying to play.

They should form a pact and Rubio should accept a position as VP for Cruz. They might get over 20% of the Hispanic vote and give Hillary a run.

Like I said I'll keep Kasich and prosper, that's fine by me if you guys are so bent to throw the game to Hillary. Though I still think ya'll shoot yourselves in the foot by not even considering him when he has the best record on the field. It's like overlooking John Elway and instead picking a rookie. Just makes no sense especially when you know you have to take on Brett Favre and the Packers.
Well Cruz and Rubio are better than Trump I'll give them that. Only problem is Cruz can't be president cause he ain't a natural born citizen (wonder if old boy Trump will point out how he was born in Canada.)
Rubio is a good talker, he's done very well in the debates in my opinion. I like how he's a young guy too and is very moderate. Only problem with him is he hardly shows up for votes. I mean we have had enough of an absentee president with Obama. Then there's his credit card use too. I do like Rubio's immigration stance though. Also like how he has been kinda the mediator between Rand Paul and the libertarians and the establishment in the past on various issues. Personally I think he'd be a better VP pick.
Really not wanting another Senator though after Obama. If we're gonna have to pick between Senators then Hillary is going to win. The president is an executive position, a manager. I am really wanting a solidly experienced Governor with a proven record of economic prosperity for both the government and private sectors in their state. Which again leaves me pretty much with only Kasich, Bush, and Huckabee.
Been seeing Jeb a lot more in the news and he's been saying some pretty smart stuff actually. Seems he's been tightening up his game somewhat. I'm thinking Jeb Bush might not be such a bad pick, but alas, I know this generation will never be able to overlook his last name even if he does have a record of prosperity that exceeds even the wildest dreams of the most technocratic minded.
No Jeb. Time for the Bushes to go the way of the Kennedys. If we are no longer a Republic, I would at least like the optics of one.
And Kasich is an Elway? When Med. Expansion takes its toll, his financial record will be more analogous to Doug Flutie's passing record in the NFL.
Yea John is Elway. Turning billion dollar deficits into billion dollar surpluses in one term and reversing job losses to job gains is dang near unheard of, especially in this decade.

The Medicaid Expansion he did is good because poor people are covered. What the WASP part of the GOP fails to understand is taking care of the poor is a Christian fundamental. The people covered by the expansion ain't rich people, not even middle class. Furthermore the people of America are entitled to Medicaid and have been long before we were born, and to withhold it from them is morally wrong. Economically in the long run it makes more sense to treat and take care of the poor rather than bear the costs of their sufferings.
The only catch is that in Ohio stuff like this has to be reviewed and renewed every two years. It's very possible the clown car type republicans might deny it when it comes up for review. Really a big reason the GOP's name is mud is because they try to shoot themselves in the foot all the time. The fact they would even criticize Kasich for doing what is right and prospering is a good example of it. GOP needs stop hurting their own people just so they can whine about Obama, and instead act like men and do what is right for a change. Then they might beat the democrats in landslides like my servant Kasich.
Yea that's pretty much our generation's sentiment. I agree to it mostly, but simply put I'd rather take my chances on another Bush rather than Trump or that SDA pagan.
Jeb's record for economy is pretty dang good, like almost even unbelievable. I won't write him off until we can at least push Trump and Carson and Fiorina out of the race.

The trump card to make or break Trump is one promise he made early in the campaign. Basically Trump promises to be the greatest Christian president of America. His entire campaign hinges on this promise. His willingness to take on islam when no other politician will shows the possibility that this could be so.

i don't think that when Trump says "Christian" he means anything close to what you or i mean when we say it.
About to go watch some of the undercard debate, but for the main debate two main things I'm watching for. Of course all eyes are upon Trump just in general. Looking for him to smash down the conservatives somewhat, but also a story related to him caught my attention. Pretty much a very famous Saudi prince, Alwaleed bin Talal has been criticizing Trump, and Trump been giving it right back to him. How is this man going to sit and say Trump is a disgrace for wanting to stop terrorists when Saudi Arabia has totally banned the Bible?

Though don't take my new interest in Trump as saying Kasich is no good. Now many of ya'll who thought Trump was great and now are scared of him see like how I did before. You still got options, you got Kasich. Kasich has a great record for economic prosperity, and fixing the domestic side of things is in my opinion the priority over the foreign issues. I suppose we have heard enough from Kasich about his economic expertise. Last I seen in the news Kasich is being very proactive in trying to tackle the abortion system and Planned Parenthood, which would make him the only candidate running right now actually going about trying to get something done for this issue. Planned Parenthood has announced they're going to sue the attorney general of Ohio. So I would like to see Kasich address that situation and the abortion and planned parenthood issues tonight.

That we shall see. If he is going to be the greatest Christian president in America, that's not that tall of an order sadly. Trump now shows the potential that he could do it if God wills it. So really as long as he stays strong all that is left to be seen is if he will be president.
Historically, it is a massive undertaking for Trump. He will have to learn the humility, rectitude, and dignity of George Washington.
Knowing Trump, he would approach it like Alexander approached the Gordian Knot.
i'm getting the feeling that his idea of "great christian president" has something to do with embroiling us in a world-wide religious war and little to do with charity, meekness or piety. but hey, one way or another, the US has to wind up at Armageddon, right?
