Well, actually it's not that bad I guess. They have even dropped the terrorist threat level from 4 (very high) to 3 (high) because there doesn't seem to be any immediate threats. A lot of people are staying home, though. Shopping malls, restaurants and even kindergartens are half empty... I live 60 miles west of Brussels. I think there's still a lot of tension and anxiety there but time will make people forget about this horror unfortunately. I'm glad you liked your stay here though!How are things in Belgium now? You don't live in Brussels, do you?

My guess is they will lay low until the coast is clear.Once everyone settles back to the norm and no one is watching,then they'll strike again. Hope Im wrong but I doubt it.

I very much doubt that anything will happen to Europe in the way you envision. It has survived WAY more than the US has when it comes to invaders, such as WWI and WWII, which happened on it's own soil.
