Why I keep the Sabbath FYI.

He is talking about food offered to an idol. The idol is nothing and means nothing to us, but to him that doesn't have this faith ,to him it is sin because he esteems the idol as something.

No he isn't. He states ALL food is clean. Not all food offered to idols is clean

Its like you have two types of religion running parallel to one another.
One type has something missing and one type doesn't.
For me the answer must be the holy spirit. How people can focus on a set day, rather than every day seems to show lifeless religion to me. The letter must be followed not the holy spirit who leads into freedom and true spiritual worship
I suppose it isn't so hard to understand where non mainline churches are concerned. I went to one to please a friend for a few weeks. My overriding impression was. Where is the holy spirit?
The people were nice and friendly, but something huge was missing. It was just religion without the fulness of the holy spirit being reflected in the church in my view
But how can the holy spirits presence be manifest when people look to the literal letter and seek to rigidly follow it to lead holy lives of obedience?
I guess I just wonder why some go to church and up this way while others dont

I am thankful that these things were revealed to me. I don't know why people who are christian don't understand these spiritual truths.

They understand some spiritual truths, it seems. But then quit half way.

I really don't know why some people understand and some don't. I think some people just don't want to understand. And that doesn't make much sense to me.

I sure hope Sabbath keepers are as zealous to keep the moral law( and on the inside) as they are to follow a Saturday Sabbath. Jesus wasn't impressed with people who insisted everyone keep the law that could be seen, while ignoring the law that pertained to the inside of man( that which couldn't be seen)

A person can try to be moral and can appear to be a good person before other people.

If you compare people by people there are some that are good and some that aren't.

If we were just attempting to be moral we could do that without help.

What we are attempting is to be pleasing to God. That is a whole different concept and one we need a dramatic amount of help for.

That is the whole reason we need the Lord Jesus Christ. We are too messed up to be perfectly moral. To be perfectly anything.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Ironically, the law is not of faith. Conundrum..., mystery...

Until you come to Christ and He gives you rest.

Would you consider that a commandment or a suggestion? An offer...? I suppose if you think you can easily keep the law you wouldn't consider yourself to be heavily laden and so the commandment or offer would not pertain to you. Very sad. Prideful.

For what [is it] to me to judge those outside [the church]? Should you not judge those inside [the church]? 1 Corinthians 5:12​

We should not judge, but we should discern... big difference.

God will not tell you on the one hand to judge and on the other not to judge. That is your free for all mixed seed religion...

1) Do you believe God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and if you do in what context?

2) When is the first scriptural proof we have that Jesus will rescue humanity?

3) Do you think God plan stayed the same since day one and if so how do we know this?

We don't have to follow all of the law because "all of the law" is not relevant to everybody. I have told you this before. If we try to keep the sacrificial part of the law it will be a slap in the face of Yeshua as he was the perfect sacrifice... but I am sure that you already knew that

1) The Bible is clear that we serve a non changing God and Jesus said that we should keep His commandments. So if I start with the ten commandments I am sure that He will not find offence if I do keep the Sabbath. To ask me where it stand in the NT that you should keep the Sabbath is the same as me asking you "do you believe in a trinity God?" and if you say yes I will ask you where do you see this word trinity in the Bible. Again your logic is faulty. Did Jesus not give the whole of the law at sanai? Yet by your own admittance it doesn't all have to be kept. So by not answering the question you admit there is no verse of scripture in the entire NT they requires me to observe a specific seventh day Sabbath

None of your quoted verses state God wrote the law on the mind and placed it on the heart of the convert under the old covenant.
When Jeremiah prophecies of this specifically taking place the prophecy begins:

The tine IS COMING( it is not there yet) when i will make a NEW covenant......... And verse 33 is part of that new covenant

It seems to me you are not prepared to accept the word of God concerning this. You are ignoring the word of God concerning what is at the heart of the new covenant
