This will be the first time in about 25 years that I am not making the Thanksgiving bird. I have to play in the church service, so I made it easy on myself and ordered it from a grocery store.
Will make plenny-o sides though. Donating the sides that come with it. Prefer to make those myself. No Campbell's soup in THIS guy's green bean casserole! And brandied yams...yummmm....
Oh, and everybody - make sure you take a pic of your meal and pm it to Fenner. She really digs that stuff.

I've seen the movies. After watching Catching Fire, since it was such a cliffhanger, I went and read the last book and I loved it. But I don't like Katniss. She's stupid. But I love Peeta and he loves Katniss so I must learn to love Katniss too. I wanna see how the movie ends though. I hope they made it better than the book.

I've read the three books and seen the first three movies. I enjoyed the first book more than the movie and the second movie far more than the book. The third book was dull and meandering for the first-thirds and then really good for the last-third (but much too rushed). Hopefully spreading the book over two movies rectifies that (not that it's necessary, movie companies - kaching!) I didn't dislike Katniss, but she wasn't someone I could cheer on. Peeta was a good man and Gale was just bland.
