That's not a good comparison. Not many people have had water buffalo. At least not around here.....gator, yes. Water buffalo, no.

True, but it's probably the closest I can find. I've never eaten crocodile or alligator, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

That makes sense I guess, haha. I was just surprised because aren't kangaroos the Australian national animal? Just like the Bald Eagle is in the USA? It's illegal for us to hunt Bald Eagles here. So that's why I was surprised :p

Yes, the kangaroo is on our national coat of arms and everything. I guess us Aussies just love to eat meat. Or perhaps it's because kangaroos are everywhere in the hills and country and are considered a pest to farmers etc. Or perhaps it all goes back to the Australian Aboriginal culture and their introducing bush tucker to the early European explorers.

Brother, we Americans love meat too. A little too much actually lol. I guess it's because Bald Eagles are near extinction and so that's why there are laws protecting them.

Haha! I know you guys love your meat. It's all good. You're probably right about the extinction thing. That would affect the consumption of your national animal.

Sorry, I can't play chess based on that :p

give me a chessboard with pieces and I'll play against you (and loose spectacularly)

So.....apparently I missed out on a good time in this thread.

One question, who won? o.O

Wisebeardman actually won. Roh_Chris deleted his posts so he ended up 'winning'. Donkeyfish deleted some of his posts so I ended up 'winning'. I think that's right, it was rather confusing. But it was a lot of fun. I hope you're well, Shine. :)

Haha, oh! That makes sense.

Well, what are we doing to celebrate?

Haha! Yes, it was quite the scramble. I'm not sure what we can do to celebrate. Hmm...

Well, we can start with your acceptance speech.

I deleted some of my posts too...first time I ever do that! I was hoping for an American to win b/c of what Roh was saying. but it's okay. LOL
