From what I have been seeing in the news there are claims the plane fell apart midair.

Hard to tell the real story on this so far, but perhaps as time goes on more will be brought to the light.
It strikes me as quite a coincidence that the plane that fell apart in mid air just happened to do so over the Sinai and just happened to have over 200 Russians on board.
