I like the new Sydlit, he is a funny guy and lately a little more relaxed. Says great prayers and isn't trying as hard as he was in the beginning.....I like your makeover....

I'd never want to offend you, things were slow, even k-bear was kidding along a bit, and I guarantee neither one of us means any harm to anyone here. And I can't believe angela actually thought I didn't know the diff between a profile and an avatar. Lol. I am tickled, but it's really cute. So sorry, MM, pls believe me. I'm just a nut-job. That is so cool!! Oh I mentioned earlier too that I'll be learning the piano version of Shine A Different Way, I'm starting to love it #stuckonrepeat.
I am very happy to hear that, Abing, I started to love her the moment my ears first heard her... when did you first hear Shine A Different Way? Between that and Forgiveness I cannot say which I like better; one moment it is the one and the next it is the other, but in truth I have not heard a-one I have not liked of hers
Plus it is a bit rare to hear a song being lead by an electric mandolin, that in itself is kind of special, and her lyrics carry very evident shades of Christianity to me, even if veiled to others, like when she says she is going to let it be the sun shine a different way tomorrow in more ways than one, I would swear she means the Son She explicitly mentions Jesus in a few songs, and the rusty nail in Shine, etc, wow, she is just so talented in her songwriting and has such a powerful voice, I am... letting the dream tell me what it has always known

I first heard her from you Magenta lol, I tried listening to her album, servants of love (honestly thought it was a christian album lol) but I got stuck repeating Shine. I'll have to check out her other albums. Thanks for introducing us to her!

I think she must be Christian, or at least have a very heavily Christian-based influence in her life (as if our whole society doesn't, though it alarmingly seems to be less and less as time progresses; it is interesting to see the changes happening, but I digress), though she is not marketed as a Christian artist that I know of, but as a singer songwriter and musician known for her stripped-down songwriting style centered on the folk music genre...

and fell in love with... and now I have just found out that she is an angel!
Listening to her music from the vantage point of a new listener, I can really not detect any difference between her early music and what she is creating today... that is an amazing consistency
I am going to see her in concert Monday
