no, thats what I was expecting when I first watched it. I was pleasantly surprised. Its nowhere near the same as it takes a more serious tone but it is very very good for what it is.

No, no. That's Jurassic Park. Pan's Labyrinth is dark and sad, but it's not depressing or scary.

Oh. Haha! Sorry about that. I was mesmerized by the jelly on the spoon. There's a creepy creature and some strong war-related violence at times, but it's a very powerful life-affirming movie. I cried towards the end.

To those confused and unaware, Angie and Ryan have this ongoing contest to snag milestone posts in this thread. It consumes them to some extent. Currently, we are nearing post 40,000 in Streams.
Now, one would think that since Angie is my girlfriend, I would be helping her snatch post 40,000 away from Ryan, in a show of support and solidarity with the woman I love.
But we all know that if I were King Solomon, and both GLR and Donkeyfish came to me claiming equal ownership, I wouldn't be so wise as to pretend to bisect it in order to properly bequeath it. No no, I'd just say, "Fine, now it belongs to me, argument over."
Being quite occupied between 7am and 7pm means that I will likely not be able to play spoiler here. But I invite anyone else to join the fray, just to make the both of them work for it. *smirk*
