Then why are you single then? that's evidence against you
...that's NOT evidence, at all. Just because someone is single doesn't mean that they are afraid of commitment. Haha. Why are YOU single? Why is everyone else single in here? Saying that someone is single because they're afraid of commitment is rash and not factual. There are other reasons as to why one is single. I don't know why I'm single, but I know 100% that I am not afraid of commitment.

I'm committed to remain single.

It just struck me, you do not choose to be single, you are born single. You choose to bond with someone. It is always a choice, and many are not that good at choosing and get involved too quickly or find it hard to even start.

I would still be single if I had not met my wife and fallen in love. But that was me.

My mother is a stubborn woman, and after my father died did not let anyone get close enough to form such a bond. It was a miracle my dad got her to marry him in the first place. So I know being single is maybe a privilege, but it is also helpful to have friendship and intimacy. What worries me is how many, married and single, still seem not to have found this.

For me... it's just hard to find a woman who loves God more than their own desires. I have been through a few relationships that were not good for me and the Christian women around my churches are always looking for the perfect guy. I am not perfect, but I love God with all my heart and I will follow Him anywhere, so for me God says, "Wait, I am doing something marvelous!"

I am not single, I HAVE A CAT, I don't need a relationship "sobs"

I am single because I enjoy being single, I kind of feel that I need to start taking dating serioulsy as I just turned 30 however I am at the stage where I would rather stay in and watch netflix than go meet people, If a woman could just fall in love with me and be awesome with minimal effort on my part, that would be the best :)

I take that as its hard to find a Christian woman where you live :p

I can agree to that much for sure. I know very few women who follow Him, and the ones that I do know are either taken, or not in my age group :/

There are many earthly women out there, and many earthly men too. Its a struggle we all deal with, as His followers as well. I often think about what kind of woman I may or may not be with in the future, and I sometimes wonder how earthly theyll be, and then I usually remember I need to come back down to earth and think about my own struggle with things like vanity and materialism. I have a few nice things I dont need here and there, and I struggle with the desire to get more.

Id like to find a wife who wants to work together to get away from earthly things, would definitely not be happy with a wife who wants to "compete" over whos "less earthly", and condemn each other for not being as "good" as the other :p
