zzz98, that would be an assumption on your part. I am against the pagan system of Roman Catholicism, but I include the people who are within her in my prayers daily that God would give them ears to hear his call, for he is saying to you and to those who can be found within her:

"Come out of her, my people,’so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes."

Therefore, though I contend for the truth and expose the RCC for what it is, I still pray for the people within her, for God is calling them out. I hate the false teachings, all false teachings!

We cannot separate the humanity of Jesus and the deity of Christ. He is the God man.

God the Father, God the Son and God the holy Spirit.

The Father,Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is humanity and deity in ONE PERSON.

Exactly, Utah and Douglas are the same person. Just like Jesus and Christ are the same person, that is, God. That is all I was saying.

ummmmm we accept the trinity. Haven't you ever seen a movie with a priest?(i doubt you have been in a Catholic Church) They make the sign of the cross, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Quit acting stupid

Just prior to that, a mighty angel cries out asking who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. If Mary was all that the RCC says she is, then when that cry goes out for someone worthy to open the scroll, we should have seen Mary raising her hand, but what does it say? No one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was worthy to open the scroll and that includes Mary. The only who was worthy is the Lamb and that because he shed his blood for all.

The Mary looking on from afar is the mother of Jesus so-called brothers and sisters so yes it is a big deal, since you all insist Jesus was not an only child

Just trying to keep it clear. Sometimes(Most times/all the time?) I am an idiot, so I want to come from solid footing.........takes me a while.

That is where I stop you. Luther came out of God's church. If you insist on my coming out of God's church, then I have to call timeout. Luther left the church and started this mess you, for some reason, call Christian. I can't accept all of the division this has caused

The doctrinal Churches watched Luther split from the catholic church.The doctrinal churches have always been on the sidelines, chugging along.............invisible hero's. Luther was just a little less religious than the catholic.

The true doctrinal churches don't have a place on the stage of this world. They are not selling books on the national market and on the "best selling list" of this world, they are not on Fox news or CNN addressing congress and being promoted in the devils world.

The true doctrinal churches are on the periphery and do NOT get promoted in this world. They are there for the believer who wants truth.

First of all and humanly speaking, do you really believe that God would tell Joseph to take Mary as his wife and then for him to remain celibate while being married? Also, regardless of all the scriptures that demonstrate that Mary and Joseph had other children, here is an important verse:

"When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage [until] she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus."

In the verse above is that magic word up there in bold "until," which means "up to (the point in time or the event mentioned)" The verse says that Joseph did not have union with Mary "until" she gave birth to Jesus, which means that after the condition of her giving birth was met, then afterwards Joseph had intimate union with her. A simple comparison would be if I said, "I can't ride my bike "until" I fix the flat." Therefore, once the condition of my flat being fixed has been met, then I can ride my bike.

Yes I believe Joseph remained celibate. Do you think that is impossible ? Why are you thinking in human terms which doesn't work?Can you not control your urges? Don't put that on Joseph

zzz98, it really does mean to have sex, yes. Whether or not we can control our urges has nothing to do with what a word means.

The New Jerusalem Bible translates the verses "When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home; he had not had intercourse with her when she gave birth to a son; and he named him Jesus." This - the bit about having intercourse, at least - is also what the Greek says. It appears in the Septuagint e.g., in Gen. 4:1 and elsewhere.

The New Jerusalem Bible mistranslates ἕως (meaning "until"), "when".

So, St Joseph is a sexual predator? Won't accept that. you will have to do better. St Joseph is a saint who knew who Mary was. It has already been proven by me Jesus did not have brothers and sisters .

Do better? I haven't done badly, zzz89, credit where credit is due. And neither has the Catholic translation The New Jerusalem Bible, at all, but for the "until" bit.

Joseph knew who his wife was when she gave birth to Jesus? The verse says he did not know her. Another Catholic Bible translation, the Knox Version, has, "He had not known her when she bore a son." If your understanding of "know" here is correct, who would he thought she was up to that time?
