Just thought I'd check back in and explain why you people are getting so much rest from me. 
I've started a project that the Good Lord has allowed my physical strength to do. I needed something to keep me from being idle and get in shape and this fell in my lap.
I bought a 1986 Suburban with a great 350cid engine. The 'burban was wrecked.
The next day I bought a 1995 S 10 pickup that had a bad transmission and fuel pump.
I am currently putting the 350 V8 with automatic transmission in the S 10 in place of the 2.2L 4 cylinder standard it had.
I'm trying to do it cheaply, but it has to be right. I will not tolerate a ratty looking swap when I'm doing it. It will have A/C, P/S and of course automatic.
This is where I currently am. I'll have to take a break shortly to let my budget catch up. I have to put dual exhaust on it, have the driveshaft cut, and fabricate the alternator bracket for the serpentine belt setup.
It is great that I am able to do this much. Makes me happy. Glad Jesus still loves me.

LOL otaku friends. Ahh the new ones. I tried watching Death Note once, but I didn't really like it. I've seen a few episodes of Code Geass but got bored fast. Hmmm, trying to remember the last anime I watched. Ahh I re-watched "Special A". Have you seen it? It's a shoujo I finished reading Naruto a few months ago. It's the only anime I got serious with lol.

I haven't watched Special A or read Naruto. I am hesitant to read Naruto because it's daunting with all the volumes (this coming from someone who spent over a year reading the Umineko visual novel and is still not quite finished, lol). I read all the Death Note manga and didn't care for the second half as much...but overall it's an intriguing concept and kept me entertained. My friend is getting me into watching Fates Stay Night as well since that's one of his favorite animes.

I think it snows in Japan (and it's like 4 hours flight from where I live). But that country's expensive lol. I must save if I ever decide to visit Japan (and to see cherry blossoms too!). Until then, I'll imagine snow's like soft ice! Or like cotton candy, but cold.
