I remember seeing it on youtube but can't remember where it happened and can't seem to find that same video now. Here is a marriage proposal rejected at a basketball game. Awkward! :eek:

Oh, melita, this may be one of the most important things we could ever come to terms with! You may not realize how beautiful this sentiment is...there really should be a thread or an entire forum devoted to this. I have a tear as I read this over and over, and seeing who 'liked' this post says a whole lot. (not judging anyone who didn't, though) Just shows a heart for Jesus by those who did, and I vote for this as post of the day, or more. God bless you, melita, c, s. :)

No but seriously, if I were to have been the girl and I had my doubts, I would've said yes on the court and then had a talk with him afterwards. It wasn't cool for her to leave him in front of everyone. :eek::(

That awkward moment when u passed by with someone wearing the same clothes you're wearing...and that awkward moment when someone in ur department approach u when ur about to finish ur food and ask if its ok to dine in with u...caught u off guard...and said yes and waited for her to finish before u leave.
Note: that person is not a friend so it felt really awkward.

that awkward moment you walk off the platform after praise and worship. you reach your pew as the preacher says, "let's open our bibles to..."

and then you realize you forgot your bible on the platform.

Story of my life. I'm oblivious to these things. I guess it happens more than I think it does. At least that's what people tell me, haha.

Same here! My mom and daughter are usually with me and alert me to guys that are checking me out. I hate it. I'd rather not know. Kinda hard when you're a Christian. Don't want to ask every potential " Hey are you a Christian, have you accepted Christ in your heart, by the way do you go to church and study the bible?" Gets kinda awkward after that.

I'm getting so tired of all the bizarro sensationalism in the CC News Forum and the doomsday crap they keep posting. Even if I comment an encouraging word about the peace we have in Jesus, nobody cares. They just keep posting their "The End Is Near" messages. :p

And let's not even get started about the people with no sense of humor or those putting the hammer down hard on certain groups of people. It's no wonder people in the world don't wanna have anything to do with religion. Religion is a real drag.

Sheesh............... I need a break from this. :(
