Good morning everyone, It is Friday!! Was at my daughters wedding rehearsal until late last night, then up at 4:30 this morning to work. A little groggy so if I sound like i am not all there, I may not be all there yet (I know I know that may be normal for me anyway,,HA HA!!) Coffee is working slow this morning!
 
contrary to popular wisdom,
laughter is actually not the best medicine when you have a lot of fresh surgical stitches in your abdomen.
 
I'm so excited because I am spending time with a couple people this afternoon hanging out starting off with going to lunch and the other is a surprise to me, go figure

I have been reading about the flooding in your state, Frank. Last I saw, the count was at nineteen. Has it held steady there? I hope so. I hope you and your family and loved ones are all safe. I pray for you daily...

I just got home from a cell group and I'm happy to fellowship with people who are going through trials as I. It's very encouraging. Thank God for the church.
 
Two words just made my morning. "Free coffee" especially after getting a lot of homework done so I can keep getting ahead in my classes

Hello Magenta,

Yes the death toll is still holding at 19, we still have people missing.
They are hope, that they got out, before the flood. We have around 12
days, before the water level gets back to normal. It may be at that time,
the missing, will be found.

We are safe, the water level has came back up about 3 foot in the past
20 hours. In some places, the water is expected to rise 18-19 feet, more
flooding. They are saying the damage to our state is around 22 trillion
dollars. They still have over 800 roads closed, bridges washed away, or
the roads washed away. It's just a big mess right now, we'll recover, as
we always do.

Thank you for the prayers, our entire state needs it.

a lot of nearby cities are flooded. Some
can't even get home. Roads are blocked
for safety. Flood levels are expected to
rise. They still have us under Flash Flood
Warning.
