That awkward moment when you go to your 30 year high school reunion and nobody there recognizes you.

How much weight did you gain? Did you have any plastic surgery?
And you don't recognize anyone there either. Not because of weight gain or plastic surgery (at least not on my part), but because none of your close friends from high school showed up. Only people that you didn't really know or barely knew. ;)

The awkward moment when you have to google yolo. Maybe I'm just getting too old to be cool anymore. New words keep cropping up that I don't know.

To be fair, you have a young face.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing...I guess it's good. Thanks!
I remember when I was a high school senior and my brother was a freshman. My mom told her friends that she had a senior and a freshman. They turned to my brother and said "Congratulations, what colleges are you looking into?"

The awkward moment when my adviser was grading my QuickBooks homework and told me that I would make a good auditor because I pay attention to detail.

Working for the government, yeah right:rolleyes:

Having a young face is great! Although I have to admit I was dubious about it until halfway through my 20's... But people kept lowballing my age after my 20's, and it was great!

...Until my hair started turning grey. Now they highball their guesses. Except when I'm at work and wear a work hat. Then they lowball it again. Maybe I should start wearing a hat all the time.

you probably know this but I badly cracked my screen when I had 8 months on my contract. I has a screen shield glued on as the phone still worked and it lasted until I could upgrade despite the store lady telling me it wouldn't. Ha!

I was sometimes mistaken for a 14 year old, when I was 18. I found it terribly insulting, especially when it was said by people who should've known better. But to be fair, I did have a young face. That didn't change for several years. By the time I was 21, I was still being mistaken for a senior high schooler. Not cool. "Right!" I said to myself. "That's it, I'm going to grow a beard!" But my face didn't comply to my wishes until I was well into my 23 years. Now in my early 30's, people think I'm in my early 20's. I tell you, I can't win! :p

I was mistaken for a 22 year old when I was 14. Now people think I'm in my mid-30s. It's a mystery.

Wow, Olerica. :) Yes, sometimes I don't understand people and how they think.
