I'm free God tells me...but not all things are helpful. I wonder if some things are?
I tried to exercise my right to stop breathing and eating and drinking but soon I realized there are two categories to freedom: Freedom that has better choices and freedom that has beneficially necessary choices. I know the 'ought to' message God gives me [rather easily] about tread milling, but it is a 'quiet voice' that's waits on me to answer.
And I see a revelation in me: that I am in danger of forgetting that I cannot do what God does, and that God will not do what I can do. My first test of the day is whether He will get me out of bed or whether I will, based on His help. Can I trade in my will ? I could be a robot for God. Smile. Nope, He says, in that still quiet voice-- I want to love you silly!

I find it kind of interesting that when you fall smack down on pavement it doesn't start hurting until the next day, but thankfully it's just a bruise on my knee. Lol

Sorry I am not around much these days. My RA has really gone right to the bottom! My last drug failed badly, and now I am on two new drugs, which may take months to work, if they work at all. And my last possible meds that are strong enough to deal with the severity of the disease.
I am in constant pain, taking too much prednisone and pain killers, which barely get me out of bed. Typing is almost impossible, if I do it, I wake up in the night screaming my hands hurt so badly. Hence, the not posting, and the reason I turned off my messages.
I do love and care for you are, but right now, this journey is very, very hard. I'm not yet depressed, but I am discouraged, in many ways. Please pray this med will work, without serious side effects. (The good news is that so far the one drug has not affected my liver!)

PS I am lurking, so you will see "likes" from time to time. And the occasional post if I really feel prompted to write one.

I'm sorry that none of my suggestions worked out for you.
I still say you should have went a chess piece.
Yea, it just wouldn't work. The one that I wanted,
I couldn't get it to reduce down small enough, and
still have the same effect. But, I finally posted one,
so, I'm happy with that.

It's been a lovely day today Frank but I miss Spain, I could really live there for so many reasons - it is easy living and I think I would feel more connected with God there. The Spanish are good people.

Hello MPW, doing good. We had a tornado down this way early Thursday
morning. Thank God no one was killed, it destroyed 25 homes, quite a few
buildings. They were 2 people missing, not sure if they have been found or
not, no power for most in my area. We didn't have a tornado out my way, we
had straight line winds. The tornado was an ef3, with 135 mile per hour winds.

Oh scary! I've never seen a real tornado, I've seen a small one forming but it didn't connect with the ground. Glad you are safe, the power isn't so important though a bit of a nuisance.

Yea, power is a big thing, when you don't have it.
We have power, we have a huge generator. It
took all day Thursday to get it going. We haven't
used it in 3 years, although, it's started every year.
The storm hit around 2:00 am, I'm surprised that
in the homes that were destroyed, no one was killed.
They were nothing left, but the foundation. These were
huge 2 story homes, located on Johns Island. All I can
say is, God was with the families during the storm. They
were some injuries, but, none in serious condition.
