The awkward moment you meet a guy tonight and he is telling you a lot of stuff and proceeds to say, "So, I used to be a male stripper at a gay club before I became a Christian," and I choked on the water that I was drinking.

You seem to meet all the interesting guys.

Isn't it awesome how God redeems us from all sorts of stuff? Praise God this man was reached and redeemed!

Oh, boy. Did I learn that the hard way. At evening church a couple of years ago, I saw a girl who had been a member maybe five years earlier. A group of us were talking about something or other related to age and the girl looked at me and said, "How old do you think I am, Christian?" My brain told me to disengage, but I steam-rolled straight ahead. "27?", I said. A look of horror came over her. "27? 27? I'm 23 years old!" I wanted the ground to swallow me up in my embarrassment. "Oh, crap". She wasn't amused. Either was I. Lesson learned: Don't ever guess a woman's age.

Much to learn you have, young padawan!

From exactly where are you pulling out these people?:p

Why must they actively choose to trap us? Do they derive enjoyment from it? I'm generally respectful of women, but this was a boo-boo. Seems an easy enough mistake to make.

I find it extremely interesting when guys say things like this...

Some girls enjoy the game... as some guys... many girls just want a guy who likes them and who is not always looking around to see if there's something better available...

As for the age thing... well... girls tend to be a little more sensitive than guys... then again... society is much more kind with an older guy than with an older girl...

;)

I really meant no disrespect to her. And she had a young boy and partner (not at church with her though). I'll just treat every conversation with a girl as if it were a trap. ;)

Whoa... you don't need to get paranoid...;) that will do nothing but, well, make you paranoid.... hehehehe I bet she was just looking for a little compliment... nothing else... ;) She was probably not expecting your answer... that's all... ;)

Just keep in mind that age and weight are usually sensitive subjects for girls... :)

I think self esteem issues are part of this, but more often it just a way of getting attention:) If a guy told me, hey Jen, you 31? I's totally sure you were 35, I'd just scold him for fun;)...meaning the girl aint necessarily mad at you for real...maybe she was looking for fun? Lol, when she said 23, you shoulda said, with a big smile on your face...oh...I meant to say that, but I just wanted to make the age span go away:)

I was joking about the trap bit. Hence, the winking smiley.

Hmm... that makes sense. But if she was being flirtatious, that's wrong as she already had a partner and young son.

That awkward moment when you think you're going to bed at a decent time and then look at the clock to find it's 1 in the morning! LOL

Note to self: Don't say anything...at all...before you've collected every piece of info:p

That awkward moment when you jump out of bed thinking it's one in the afternoon and you slept in and it's one in the morning still you go flying into the shower only to notice the darkness still prevailing after....
