I saw you wanted laughter, so I hope I can make a joke about this.
Step 1) get hired by verizon
step 2) call a bunch of random people
step 3) sit back and watch as people ask "can you hear me now?" while in public and other people thinking they are advertising for Verizon.....
sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Serious.
I think lm hard of hearing sometimes. My kid yells at me because l always ask her to repeat herself a few dozen times, before l get it.
Its not like l ran around with QTips in my ears, or listened to Rock really loud.
I just can't hear very well, when l'm not paying attention.
.......or when l do pay attention.

I have always had problems with my ears. Ever since I was a baby I had ear infections constantly. My parents were always trying to get my doctor to send a referral to an ENT and finally was successful when I was five and got tubes put in and it ended up delaying my speech, comprehension and of course left me having problems with my coordination so thats why I get hurt a lot. Lol
Right after the procedure I finally was able to hear my parents say my name. I still struggle hearing every now and then

Once I entered my 20s I started getting ear infections constantly. It was so weird. The doctor told me to not use Q-tips. But I've been using them all my life! I had no idea they were bad for the ears, but apparently they are. So needless to say, it's been difficult for me to adjust to not using them Q-tips. Sometimes my ears are so itchy that I have to use them! LOL
But what has helped me some is using hydrogen peroxide to clean them out. You dab a cotton ball with it and then rinse the ear with the cotton ball. After a few minutes, you turn around and let the ear spill it out. This leaves your ear feeling clean and free from wax built-up. This is the only way I can clean my ears in a healthy way, according to my doctor. You should try it.
I'm sorry you both have had such hard times with your ears. I've only had these problems for about five years but I can only imagine what it's like to have them since childhood! I pray that you both feel better and hear better soon. God bless you Cmarieh and Reborn.
God bless you all. .I had ear infections all my life
But never affected my hearing. They would sometimes close up for a short time but pop
right back open. Man I could.hear a pin drop.
But not any more : ( Hope you all's ears get
Better real soon. I know it's no fun.
I tried playing the trombone in band in highschool....but I learned that everytime I played it, I would get an ear infection....that was interesting....
One time when I was 7 I was dumb and stuck a balled up piece of paper in my ear and couldn't get it out, and it stayed there until I was 18, when I got my ears cleaned out at the doctor's office because my ear finally gave up on me, after eleven years of less than 100% hearing on that side.
