Gah. I'll probably be dead and I'll still owe student loans... Hmm *takes a moment to think* Kidding.. Obviously. Bad joke. But was a joke nonetheless.
Some people say they will be paying student loans off for the rest of their lives. I have a friend who is still not done with her bachelors and owes $200,000! That's without interest! Student loans scare me.

I still owed tuition money for my last year of undergrad. Not loans. Tuition money... And that took over a year to pay because I couldn't get a job... The job I have now? You don't even need schooling for. *Shrugs* ohh the struggle

There is always the Post Office. Would you like to be a letter carrier? No degree required for that job. Just a High School diploma and no felonies. Student loan problem solved!

I inquired about career opportunities at the Post Office once and they told me it was a fat chance because the postal system was laying people off, not hiring them. *sigh*
On a separate note, I also used to go to the gym who was so established in her career as a letter carrier, she had a special Jeep with the steering wheel on the right side (it was imported from a place that makes vehicles for countries that drive on the left side of the road.) Pretty neat!
Around here they get those dual-control rigs, with a steering wheel on both sides.
We had a little girl, looked about five years old, come through the drive through one day. Her mother, a postal worker, was on the right side doing the actual driving. But it looked so cool! The girl even had her hands on the left-side steering wheel like she was driving.

Thank you Mailmandan! I can't say I haven't thought about it. It sounds like fun and it's a great way to get a workout.
But I'm actually in college. I'm studying to be an actuary. I'm on my third year. I just go to a very affordable school and have been blessed with scholarships.
I've been laying down a drum track and I listen to what I've already got and it sounds nothing like I thought it would, so I tinker some more and it still sounds waaaaay off... oh wait, most of the drum set is going to channels that I haven't even set yet.
So I downmixed it all to one channel (just to hear what is really going on) and it sounded exactly like it should have.
*sigh* computers and music are going to be the death of me one day. I just know it.

Nothing wrong with licking the plate...... as long as there's no one watching... unless it's family and close friends... they don't judge... well... they do, but they'll love you anyway, so... no harm done!!!

How long ago was that? They have hired several people within the last year at my office.
