1001 reasons I changed my mind on that thought:

When I got older I became unable to digest all those yummy eats (or, for lobster, I can eat lobster, but can't take butter. Is there any purpose in eating lobster without butter?)

What? Tell me you weren't really expecting a list of 1001 reasons, were you? :D

That list of unclean animals would only apply to those who were under the Law of Moses, but Not to those under the covenant which is salvation by grace through faith.

"I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean." (Rom.14:14)

All joking aside, you just might find a new life by contacting my Chiropractor/Nutritionist. He has absolutely turned around the lives of hundred of patients. He is nearly a fanatic on foods and balancing PH levels to 7.3, and he might know someone up there in PA.

I just noticed some discrepancies in your list. If no aquatic/wading birds, then why ducks and geese? The unclean fish are basically scavengers -- fish that eat crap (sometimes literally) and dead stuff off the bottom of the water they're in. In which case, why are flounders considered clean? And rabbits? You might want to do some research on that word in the Bible. There were no rabbits in the Middle East at that time. It was a desert dwelling rodent. It became "rabbit" because the guys translating the Bible in England had no idea what that word was so guessed based on animals they did know.

If you're going to promote the kosher diet from the OT, at least know what it is before promoting it.
