Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, sounds like the weather over here is kinda nice in comparison, never ever gets that bad here.

Some rivers might be floodin, but that is rare up here...but it is common in the southern parts of the country. The blizzards during winter can be bad though, but nothin like a gulf coast twister...so, I reckon weather aint all that bad after all:)

We been getting our share of rain too. It floods out here too, I have to take an alternate route to leave home if we get a lot.Summer has been a hit one in the hundred, beginning to have some days in the 80's now. Haha I remember once it rained n flooded out n this guy took a tire tube n floated down highway 301..

I was in the mountains for a few days, stupid me, took
shorts, no pants other than my suit. It was in the mid
40's, I thought I was going to freeze. I had to go out and
buy some pants. It was that cold at night for 3 nights,the
wind was blowing around 35 miles an hour, just to cold
for this coastal boy. At home, most of the time we were
77-80 degrees at night.

They are one section in downtown Charleston that floods
a lot. Yesterday, they were boats going down hwy 17, to
rescue people from cars, and houses.
It's been in the 100's here most of spring and summer, not
a lot of rain until the past few weeks.

i can't help but recall the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck three times...
what the OB called 'the hangman's noose'. :eek:

our OB was a sister in Christ who attended the same church we did, and the first thing she did when we got to the hospital was pray. :)

the Lord used Barbara to save Hannah's life as she was being born.
