I've gotten that, too. It's like, 'Hey, you're really good at that, you should go to school.' For what? To learn how to do what you just said I was already good at??!! But I know they mean well, it just sounds funny. I like to cook, and enjoy it most when I can share it with someone and they like it. It's one reason I wish i was married, a wife to cook for, and dine with. (boy do I need an ego check) lol

Morning Ellie.

I'm not good at trying to keep the peace.
Those boys, need to be took to the wood-
shed, and no mercy shown on them. I don't
care if they are grown men or not.

They did move April yesterday, she's a happy
camper again. She called around 4ish, all in
all in great spirits. I'll go see her on Tuesday,
then I'll know for sure.

i'm sorry about the boys, and glad you just have one more day to get through. :(

and i'm sure it'll lift April's spirits to see you, get a hug and a bag of candy. ;)

Yea, one more day of this, then, home sweet home.

She made my day, called at the right time, said the
right things, to get me to laugh.
God has been sooooo good with keeping her in His
arms. I'm thrilled that she's doing so good, hopefully
that means she'll be coming home before long.

Jim brought Marie out to see the house 2 Saturdays
ago, she fell in love with it. I really hope they enjoy
living in the country, they have always lived in the
city.

cities, bah, humbug! lol
how could they not love the country?
open space, peace and quiet... just what the doctor ordered. :)

it will be good after this ordeal with their daughter.
and you'll have your April to make you laugh every day!

Well, you know you can take a person out of the city,
but you can't take the city out of the person. The peace
and quite, is worth it all, not a lot of traffic, fresh air.
The draw back, no stores close by, no school close by,
the town is 9 miles away, a smaller city is about 9 miles
south. It will be a great place for April to be brought up.

I would like to think that I will be able to see her a few times
a week, it don't have to be every day. She'll become my ice
cream parlar buddy, go everyday that I see her. She loves ice
cream, and riding in a big truck.

i was raised in the suburbs, and Mark was raised on 65 acres with the nearest neighbor over a mile away.
his philosophy is, if you can see a house from yours, it's too close! haha

it took me a little while to adapt to his thinking, but now i can't imagine living in a crowded area.
(crowded being more than 10 people per square mile :rolleyes:)

how can i get in on this ice cream parlour gig? ;)

I agree with Mark, my nearest neighbor is a mile away. They are 5 farms
out here, so, all of the property is tied up. No one can build anywhere near
any of us.

All you have to do is to come down, we'll get the horses, go up to prayer
hill, have prayer, ride the fence lines, come back to the house, and head
over to the ice cream parlar. They make their own ice cream, and it's out
of this world. I don't know how many flavors they have, but the menu takes
up the entire back wall. When they have a new flavor, they give you a small
cup of it free. Sometimes, it's not to good, other times, it's great.

You are Mark would not have to be put up with.
If he's like you, well, no problem at all. I'm having
problems putting up with these mountain boys.
I've heard enough of cussing to last me another
lifetime, just sad, sad, they don't have any respect.

Well, time to hop off, my wife is ready to go get breakfast.

Good afternoon everyone, it's been a while since I've been on this thread but I do still read through some of the posts some days. I've been real busy with work and also evenings these past couple of weeks.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their Sunday and also worship if you are able.

I know we don't much discuss the Bible here but I was just wondering about your thoughts on sanctification - what is your opinion on the scripture regarding the non-believing husband being sanctified by his believing wife. What exactly does this mean in your opinion?
