Not grievous... but that sort of discution gotta be done with care and mutual respect... and for some reason, there are way too many people around here that will take an opinion that is different from their own as a personal offense... and that is sad cause it ends up cutting short many fruitful discussions that could be a used as a means of spiritual growth... :(

So we use this place as a safe haven for easy fellowship with our brothers and sisters... ;)

I see that you're relatively new here with few posts. Spend enough time in the rest of the BDF and you will certainly see how it can be quite grievous there. Sometimes you feel like you're banging your head on the wall. And it's not because of the Bible itself either.
 
Why is this thread here? Well, why not? We fellowship. We chat. We share prayer requests. We ask bible questions with no arguing back and forth.

It's a good fellowship thread.

This thread is in the BDF because the OP made it here. This thread is the ONLY thread in BDF in which debating, discussions and arguments are NOT allowed. There's a thousand other threads in this forum where you WILL find plenty of bible discussion, but THIS thread is for those of us who are weary of all the strife and contention in the BDF.. :) People seem to think that since we're christians, we should speak Jesus 24/7..That's just not true, there's a time for everything, a time to be serious and a time to have fun and relax.. Even Jesus wasn't serious ALL the time.
