Flat on your face??? ......... In a puddle of drool???!!! ......... It just keeps getting better!!! ................... I think I may be falling in l...........ust?
Syd,

With all due respect, this is taking things a bit too far.

And could very much make a lady feel a bit uneasy (most especially on a Christian site.)

I know I would feel extremely awkward if someone publicly typed this about me.

I don't mean to speak for Shine at all--I'm only speaking for myself, but also as someone observing from the outside.
Sorry, seoul it's all in reference to some earlier posts that EVERYbody was cracking up about. Did not mean to offend. Shiney knows it's been all in good fun. Pls know I mean no harm. I wouldn't hurt a fly. Bzzzzz-SLAP! (That was a skeeter:)) Really. Shiney's my friend, right shiney? ...........shiney? .............Hello?............. GREAT! Abandoned again! :)
Well, as it can be seen on the forum, I think I can joke with the best of them, but I just have to say that I personally wouldn't "joke" about "falling into lust" with someone on a public forum, and certainly not with someone less than half my age.

I'm just saying, one must think about the other person's perspective as well. I joke and banter with plenty of people here.

But if I were to "joke" here about "falling into lust" with, let's say, a 21-year-old man here (or ANYONE, for that matter, but the age difference really puts it into perspective), I would expect such a comment to be reported to the mods.

I'm not meaning to be a buzzkill, and again, I can only speak for myself. I've read a lot of your posts. I'm sorry for your loneliness, and know that you are very eager to find a woman here.

But I'm just saying... As a woman... that some of your comments... if they were directed at me... Would make me feel quite uncomfortable. And maybe you'll say, "Well, don't worry, they're not for you, Seoul... They're for... (some of the many other young ladies I'm attracted to here) who CAN take a joke."

I'm not saying it's wrong to be attracted to someone. I'm just saying... Please consider her feelings.

And respect her dignity, whether joking or not.

The awkward moment when your profile picture on Facebook is of Dwight Schrute and you receive more likes on it than your previous profile picture which was of yourself.
This happens to me a lot. I posted a pic of a beautiful flower and got way more likes than my selfie. I still don't know how to feel about it. Lol :)

Maybe there is already a thread like this out there somewhere, doesn't matter I'm starting a new one. Awkward moments...now!

That awkward moment when you realize a family member you had high respect for turns out to be a major conspiracy theorist. (true story)
Not that a reply matters 2 years later but why not!!....You might want to think about a confession thread instead of a inquiry thread. I tried to inquire about all the phenopropylnolimine users once turned out there were many, but nobody ever read the label.

OK, fine I will be a party-pooper not candidate!....The time I forgot that it was a Holiday at work and went in and my boss just happened to be in checking on something, lunch box in hand dumb as an ostrich about what day it was....I never made anyones day that day like my bosses day of pure joy! He never let me not remember it too. Every time I did well in my job he would humble me once again...smile. AWKWARD!

That awkward moment when your flesh wants to react to some mean-spirited ol' crone's spiteful comment on the forum... and suddenly recognize the spite in you and you know you have to die to yourself. *ugh* :p Praise God for grace & mercy!

My kids and I sometimes do this on purpose. It's fun to wave to strangers and they wave back and then get that expression like, "Wait... do I even know those people??"

Or the times you read the opening statement of a thread in here....and respond to the original thought not realizing 2 years have past since the original post and people have been involved for a year on another subject.....You don't see them respond to your unrelated post and time crawls by in seconds, as you can feel the "What is he talking about?" develop before the event shows up. but my faithfulness pays off as you see the confrontative text paint a picture for you, eyebrows raised and a sense of befuddlement halts the movement in the room. and blink!...in pops your fear... the dreaded text saying, as faithfully imagined, "What is your deal Slave? we are talking about...etc." You now you have been reading the latest texts catching up, in what seems like hours but only seconds have flown by..........Awkwardly, I then recalibrate and launch into a more relevant discussion. Usually not as relevant, however, as my first posting, but acting as if what I said earlier was but a cute gesture not to be reckoned with.......... AWKWARD!!

Or the time your post can't figure out if it is a first person point of view or a second, or a third person omniscient...etc etc...Awkward, ....[actually, not so much. smile].
