So a friend of mine clued me in. Apparently Facebook now sends you alerts, "It is the anniversary of the day this friend sent you a friend request."

That awkward moment when the program you use to keep in touch with friends knows more about your friends than you do.
 
The awkward moment when you're singing in your apartment while cleaning, and your neighbor (who also happens to be a good friend), knocks on my door and asks, "Are you okay?"

That would never work for me. If I like someone, I act like a giddy hamster. It's obvious.
 
That awkward moment you realize that 90% of your Christmas wish list is made of action figures and collectibles.... and you feel fine about it! O.o

I think it's because I grew up with two brothers.

When you sit with your nephew for like an hour reassuring him constantly that the watermelon with 100 rubber band around WILL explode and it doesnt...
 
That awkward moment when you wake up the next morning on the lawn and explain to Grandpa that you wrecked his car last night.

That awkward moment when you throw in some clothes to dewrinkle and you wind up throwing in three shirts - the one you want to wear but you know the wrinkles won't shake out, the next-best one you want to wear and you're almost sure it will dewrinkle, and the one you don't really want to wear but you're sure it will be wrinkle free - and you realize GRANDMA WAS RIGHT, it would have been easier to hang the things up when they came out of the dryer.

Well if the first doesn't work I don't have time to wait for another shirt to dewrinkle. Gotta get at least one shirt right the first time.
 
I'm a guy. Most people are surprised that I prefer to do my own washing and drying. Let's not get crazy and talk about ironing here. >.>
 
I dunno... I heard of one housekeeper that "pressed" a shirt by putting it in a bed, between the mattress and box springs. Allegedly it works, though I sleep on a blow-up air bed (have for about 20 years now, very comfortable) so I wouldn't be able to test it. So a bar of iron rebar might be very effective at pressing a shirt.

That would have me crippled!!! How does your back stand it?????

I'm getting old....
 
Maybe you never inflated it enough? You can make them things firmer by blowing more air in them. I always inflate it until it's not mushy in the center.

I like the airbed, but can be dangerous, can be bad for your back. Over-inflate, wind up hovering near the ceiling. Roll over, fall out of bed, drop 5 feet to the floor. Splat. Not good for your back.:)
