That awkward moment when you say "Hi!" to someone you think you know, and they just look at you freaked out. So you gulp and say " I'm sorry, I thought you where someone else." And then... You figure out it WAS that person, and they just didn't recognise you. Awkward.

The awkward moment a guy thinks you're hitting on him because you're asking questions, and eventually, holds up his hand, points to his finger and says, "I'm married" and walks away quickly.

Dude, I wasn't asking for your number or even your hand in marriage. I was asking how long you've been in ministry and what it's about.

Awwwwwwkwaaaarrrrrddddd.

I have not been assimilated... I mean I don't have facebook so this seems rather absurd. You have to remember the anniversaries of when people asked you to "friend" them on facebook?

Have I ever mentioned how peaceful it is to not have facebook? :D

I wish I hadn't had all these awkward moments but here's another one!

That awkward moment when your best friend texts you asking what you think of her boyfriend and you end up sending your response to her boyfriend on accident.

What's worse is that I didn't like her boyfriend, so...

I've done this except it was a guy I was seeing at the time....

(Don't we wish ?!) But seriously, it DOES work both ways. Sometimes I'm being so guarded because I'm convinced every word I'm saying she's thinking is just a cheap pick-up line. (I mean, IT IS! but how does SHE know that? Lol:)) Really, tho, not EVERY guy is just trying to hook up with EVERY pretty gal that shows some kindness to him. (I mean, I AM! but not EVERY guy.....lol, jk, :), ok, I give up.....:) Help us know how to talk to you without being judged. It can be very.........awkward:).

That awkward moment when you initiate eye contact and the other person refuses to look at you when you're trying to hold a conversation. It's awkward because you know the other person is just as intvested in the topic as much as you are. But it's like speaking with an intelligent child who is in fact the same age as you.

My wife gets upset with me if I do not make eye contact with her while she is talking to me. She takes it as I'm not interested in what she's saying. I've been doing better though.

I don't think that's entirely true for every girl. I've never been like that. I know the difference between a guy being nice and a guy being flirtatious. My friend, who is male, complimented me today on how I looked. I didn't think he was flirting with me or anything, but being nice.

I think it's because I grew up with two brothers.

I'm the same exact way. As a life coach, you're actually trained to keep eye contact and not to break it.

It's extremely difficult for me to do it, ha.

It'd be weird as a counselor to not have eye contact, either.
