The Cathoholics are not budging on this site. That is obvious.
The Nazi's were Catholics, The mafia is Catholic, the drug cartel in Mexico are Catholic, the Knights Templar were Catholic.
Your Southern Baptist used to love having slaves. The ruthless occupation of the Europeans into the Americas and all the atrocities to natives were supposedly by people that thought God was blessing them.
Christians are as a whole are, "Do what I say, not what I do".
Nobody has got it right. We just scape the surface and we think we know it all. Nobody know it all. we are all making mistakes in religion.
You say Christmas is not a slap in the face to God. Christmas traditions come from pagans. You say,"Oh, but we do not think of it that way". Well, can you tell me what year it went from true Christians beating a dead horse over the protest about this tradition ; to its OK now. God don't mind sharing the occasion with Santa Claus? No it started out wrong and today its just fine. What happen to change this?
We are all hanging in here with threads and needles. Christianity has become a business. The United States depends on Christmas sales every year.
The Catholics claim Peter as the first Pope. You can not prove that link.
There is a gap. The Catholic church was not called that until the government took it over.
Do you think that God is going to condemn millions of people because they are Catholic. God is a fair God. I don't care for the Customs of the Catholic church. I believe it evolved by mans idea off what they think god wants. They teach their congregation this beliefs and there you have it.
But, wrong or right I have been in the Catholic church and you so get a sense of feeling God presence. The people are very devoted to their religion and in their heart feel they are pleasing God just as much as anyone else.
Nobody know it all. That is the ugliest part of any religion is that they want to force their beliefs on non believers or try to change what others believe. Then you are an extremist.
Why pick on the Catholics. Why not go to a Muslim house and picket them with signs if you want to save souls like you say. Where do you want to draw the line. Should I as a good Christian picket Macy's on Christmas. The sign reads, "Christmas is Pagan, your all going to Hell.
I don't see Christians with signs in front of Gay bars.
You can not follow the bible line for line. "Poke your eyes, if your eyes may cause you to sin". Follow that one. Or follow, the one that says to castrate yourself. And, nobody is keeping the Sabbath day holy. And, Sabbath means Saturday not Sunday. When and why did that day change? Is the Sabbath day for the Jews Sunday also? The cross is a form of idol worship. My sister-in-law kisses the cross in her car before she drives off, like it has power.
The early Christians did not mouth off the non-believers. On the contrary, they went into hiding. Now, look at them.
Back to Christmas, it used to be outlawed in some states in the USA at one time. And, to teach kids that Santa is real and then tell them that Jesus is real at the same time would draw mixed signals.

On the altar just on the Cross, Christ offers his body and blood for us. The difference is that on the Cross his body and blood were visible to the eyes of those who were present, while in the Mass they are hidden under the appearances of bread and wine. But they are really present. This is the great fact. In each Mass, Christ is really present and renews the Sacrifice of the Cross.

The Mormons are not damning souls. They believe in more scripture and one or more prophets but it is another Church of Jesus Christ. I was a Mormon. They are going above and beyond what they have to by believing a false prophet. They only pray to Our Father in Heaven and no one else, and in the name of Jesus Christ. If they are going to Hell then we all are.
