Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it's off to bed I go..
Night everyone. Ciao.
Goodnight, sister. Sleep tight. Don't let the LOST fans bite.
Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it's off to bed I go..
Night everyone. Ciao.
Guess I should try to sleep now.
Stay sexy, people.
Especially you.
*whispers* You know who you are. Don't blush too hard.
You are now a part of the inner circle. Use your powers wisely.
SOME of you abuse your inner circle powers. You all know who you are.
I think it would've been useful to have a BabelFish on hand, following the dispersal at the tower of Babel.
42.
Ah man, I needed that.
A bible joke AND a science fiction joke rolled up into one joke. Epic bro!
As a certified doctor of awesome television series, I command you to remedy that situation this very minute!
Here, take 1 episode of LOST per day for the next 121 days and you'll feel right as rain. When you're finished, come see me.
No, Tintin!!! Don't say that!!! Please, don't say that!!!
That's not a nice thing to do to your little friends!!! :/
Lost is a big jumbled mess!!! They started something awesome, got LOST and ended up leaving more questions than answers!!!!
Half of the mysteries remained just that!!! And that ending????
So frustrating....
Today is not starting off to be a very good day at all...![]()
No, no, no. I'm sorry, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I was obsessed with LOST, I analyzed the crap out of it. Could the writers have provided better answers to some of the mysteries? Absolutely. Could they have streamlined the storyline better? Sure. But by The End they answered most of the questions, albeit indirectly. Yes, I agree that the last season was the weakest overall, but I also don't think it was as bad as many say it was and Richard's episode and the series finale were pretty great. I have 13+ books on LOST and I've now watched the series in full three times. I'm not saying it's perfect. I recognise that LOST is flawed in places, but it was a lot of fun and it really made me think. In my opinion, no other TV series has ever taken so many risks and been so ambitious in its scope. And for that, and many other reasons, I celebrate LOST for what it was, rather than what it wasn't.
Call a friend to have a but of coffee, or hot chocolate, or popcorn, or cake, or icecream... anything!!!
You are passionate... I'll give you that!! I guess the only thing that made me read as much as that was Lord of the Rings!!! huehuehuehuehue And I'm still not done (History of Middle-earth is just too big)... but if in order for you to understand a series you have to go through all you did... it's just missed its purpose...
I don't know... I like those movies and series that get you thinking and all, but I need to understand what's going on without needing sources other than itself...![]()
TinTin - did you do any of the Alternative Reality Games in conjunction with Lost? I picked up a few Apollo bars at my State Fair, and had an analytics group going. Man, I was into that show.
DOUBLE POSTER!
BAN HIM! BAN HIM NAO!
Jk. I better leave this site now.
You are cheeky! I love it.Oh, I understood most of LOST before reading the books. They just clarified things I may have forgotten (there's a lot to remember when there are 121 episodes). Rewatch the series a couple times and everything becomes much clearer. Some of the books I mentioned, presented their own theories about the show. Some were even published after the show ended a little over 5 years ago. 5 years? Wow. I found LOST to be hugely redemptive. That was a big draw card for me, along with the brilliant characters. Love your comment about The Lord of the Rings. I'm mildly dyslexic, but I tried reading that book in late primary school and I didn't get far. Tried again a year later, did much better and finished it (but I struggled with it). Since then, I've reread LotR many times and have read The Silmarillion (well, most of it). I've also read some of The History of Middle-earth, but I didn't get far. I hope you read this paragraph too. Haha!
Am I??? I don't think I am...But then I'm not sure I really understand the word... hehehehe My mother language is Portuguese, not English...
And if you understood all that just from watching LOST, than you're way smarter than I am... or at least more patient...
I had never heard of Lord of the Rings until I was about 21, when the first movie came out... then I just went nuts... I read LotR, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, and part of History of Middle-earth before the second movie came out... (yeah... I know what it is to be passionate about something, too hehehehe)... therefore, I can relate and undestand your fascination with the series...not that I agree, mind you, but I understand...
