How swoony... Lol. Well, here's to hoping a decent guy breaks your current streak - if you even are interested in the whole dating scene.

Mmm, smart. A lack of conflict can mean good chemistry, but yeah, you want to know where you stand with someone when things hit the fan. Some people maturity and/or lack grace under pressure, making it easy for a minor falling out to burn bridges.
True.

Throw it into the fire, see what it made of?

Well, don't instigate something, but yeah, I think you have the right idea. :)

At a thrift store supporting a developmentally disabled gentleman who is a "greeter" there, passing out sales fliers and stuff. I distanced myself from him to allow him to be more independent in his tasks. In doing so, I found a candleholder made of a bunch of glass bevels for $3. I plan to take it apart and make about 5 suncatchers out of it with some other leftover glass I have. Could probably sell them for $15 each.
Also a lantern that holds three votive candles and has 4 panels of fabric between thin clear sheets of glass. I think I'll replace those with floral and ivy stained glass The lantern is $4. I have no idea what to sell the repurposed version for.
Also a jar of marbles for 77 cents. I have no idea what I'll do with those yet.
Just don't lose them... :p Is that how much our sanity is worth these days? lol

*casually glances at melita*

I was like "At 10 AM? Haha, no, but thank you."

Also: The socks I'm wearing are inside out. Whoops!

why did you question the time? nothing wrong with eating ice cream in the morning :p

Well I had ice cream morning, noon, and night after I had surgery. But then again I had an excuse, couldn't eat anything else. Lol

Reasons why Seoulsearch is super happy today:

1. I got a letter from my adoption agency's sponsorship program stating that a little boy I had sponsored from China is being adopted by a Vietnamese family. This is the 3rd child in this particular part of the program who's been adopted in about 2 years (that I've been privileged enough to participate in) and I was so, so happy to read that!

2. A special someone bought me a ginormous cupcake today.

Ok, so that "special someone" was my Dad, but I'd still like to think that counts.

Oh man, Sky, is that little donkey in your avatar "Small One"?

I just remember this Christmas special, years ago when I was a kid, in which a little donkey (the donkey whom eventually carries Mary on his back when Mary and Joseph go to Bethlehem to have Jesus) and at the very beginning of the story, the little donkey and his mom get caught in a terrible winter blizzard.

The mom tells him to be sure to wrap his ears tightly around his body as she herself covers him with her own body to protect him from the storm, and she freezes to death overnight while saving him from the bitter cold.

Obviously, it traumatized me for life.

And I still get a lump in my throat when as I'm typing this!!!
