You Got It. I will pray for everything you asked for and blessings to abound both of them and peace to surround both you and your husband to always be reminded that God has it in his hands and you raised a wonderful daughter in the admonition in the Lord.

i love that he spoke with you. shows a lot about his character :) the only guy i dated did the same thing with my parents. i'm close to my parents, and so it was nice to have them know everything from the beginning :)

Thanks y'all. And honestly, I've been praying with her for years about her heart and her pick, so I really trust her in that. I'm thrilled she's allowing us to still be in her life this way. And for this young man to call and want to talk to her dad, is just plain icing.
That said too....add my oldest so who's 22. He's voicing interest in a girl and has asked for prayer. I appreciate it.
I just want God's very best for them as for you young singles. I hope you know I pray for you as much as I pray for my own. I'm thankful to know you all.

I refuse to date a man without him meeting my dad which second to God is the most important man in my life. After all I have been told on numerous occasions that my dad and I are a lot alike and if the guy likes me he will definitely like him.
 
Ok, so I decided to be lazy this evening and not read every single post from everyone... Cause there are a ton from this afternoon lol, so with that said I will let each and everyone one of you know (even if I've never spoken to you, or know you) God loves you, and cares for you... We don't really talk to one kid about the other kids' stuff, but I did tell my youngest that this boy was calling dad. She said....does Emmie want to date him...I giggled and said, well I sure hope so if he's calling dad. ROFL

Then I thought....wow does she think someone is going to call her dad before he talks to her?? hehe.

This is the hardest part of parenting to me. The in the middle. The letting go enough to watch and advise, but far enough to let them be young adults. Thank y'all for listening and praying with me. You encourage me to be a better parent.

As long as you have Christ in your life, he is your dad and he will fill every void if you let him.

I am a Daddy's Girl if you want to put it that way, but after my Grandpa passed away our relationship went through a lot and it still is, but I am not allowing circumstance to come between that.

All you wonderful ladies are super blessed to have your Earthly fathers around, remember to NEVER take them for granted.. Fathers are irreplaceable in a young woman's life, and very vital to us in life. They give us advice; they give is widsom, and more importantly the best love there is around. I miss my dad every single day that passes by... But I know I'll see him again and we will be together for eternity ❤️

Ok keepin it real, but girl yo name is too long so you're now GGMS. And Blessed am I to have met you. I lost my dad at 14, so I get ya. But the Lord is our father and in him do we trust. He will supply all your needs. HUGS to you pumpkin....ok if you don't like pumpkin I can call you something else...you pick.

I'm very sorry about your grandpa cmarieh but thank you yes Christ is my true and wonderful father. :) You're so right Littlebit they are very important to a woman's life that's why I wish I had mine. I'm so incredibly sorry yours has passed but you will be together again. Sadly I wish I could say something like mine has passed it wouldn't be embarrassing but the truth is my dad left my mom and I when I was eight. That is way too young to lose a father, I'm very sorry RR. Yes The Lord fills the void and takes very good care of me. :) Hugs to you as well and OMG lol pumpkin is perfect my mom has always called me that.

Hi Tigress! Yes, it's me. Or my clone. I can't remember which. I'm feeling good, thanks. Circumstances haven't changed, but I have a healthier attitude. Hopefully that continues to grow in me. Thanks. :)
