You know, when I started CC I was exactly the same way. But hanging out with wonderful folks on here helped make it so much easier. Just as Frank said, just keep working at it and it will come. It is a pleasure to have you here with us to fellowship

Christian Chat is for fellowship, it's not a dating site. What do you mean you thought Christian chat might be true. True in what way, brother sydlit?

I've not done too well with the live chat. For me it seems like a real zoo in all those noisy chaotic rooms. I like these forums instead. Especially this Speak Your Mind thread.

As for your negative feelings about you being too nice a guy or finishing last, it sounds to me like you are depressed. I believe if you jump into this forum as a brother in Christ and join us in fellowship and encouraging each other, I think you'll find you're not a stranger or "invisible" as you say. :)

We all have our ups & downs and I can honestly say the people on this forum have encouraged me far more than I ever dreamed. The Lord is very alive and moving through the people on this board, brother sydlit. Stick around and find out for yourself. ;)

We all feel that way at times. If you are talking Chat, I never do
that. When in this room, it may take a while before someone
replies, because the different time zones. With Chat, it's live
from what I hear, there is not much going on in them.
As members get to know you, they open up more, so, don't
give up, hang in there.
 
i used to chat a lot in the room, but it took a while to get someone to actually chat back with me lol i would just say random things until people noticed, but now i hang out in the forum a lot more. i did the same thing. commented random things and others noticed.

If it wasn't for having my laptop busted last year. I probably would have never came into the forums. I can't join the chat rooms on a phone, so that's how I ended up posting. I'm glad it's worked out that way.

lol! when it comes to hairstyles, i have 3: straight, wavy, and hot mess, emphases on the mess. lol. but i'm liking the flower in my hair look :)

brother Frank :D this week is ice cream. i just had some more mint chocolate chip after my lunch. it's soooo good. my devo went smoothly last night :) one of the brothers said he enjoyed it very much. i'm excited about teaching my lesson tomorrow. it's gonna be over elijah on mt carmel. it's my fave bible story after Jesus's life, death, and resurrection.

Was typing a post and it just disappeared in the middle of typing. Was pouring my heart out, too. Sooootypical. As I was saying...... oh, forget it. Im not a bad guy, and if anyone thinks I am they just dont know me. I will re-try to re-write. Stick with me. My God and Saviour Jesus Christ is not done with me yet, but the enemies' time is short so he's working overtime. Praise the Lord for the victory He has won for us!!!!! (Now, wheres that wife of mine?) I'M KIDDING! I'M KIDDING! ( sorry, I use humor as comedy, its just not always funny). I will pray for or with anyone who wants. Pm or forum, I cant chatroom, I have a tablet with no flash so chat doesnt seem to work on this. But however we can connect. Or pray. Or joke around. Or sing and make music. Or cook, which im going to do forthwith. ( soon, I think )
