Relying on other believers? It was Jesus who left heaven, came to earth, lived as a man, without sinning no less, was beaten and crucified and died for YOUR sins, and you ask why its bad to rely on someone or ANYone else to save you? Maybe tell God the Father that His Son paying for your sin wasnt good enough. Truly, though, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, He still loves you, even though you havent received Him alone as your Saviour. Every knee shall bow to Him, and there is no other name under heaven whereby we MUST be saved. I pray you accept Him soon, for your sake and His glory, and for His sake and your future glorification as well.

The Bible teaches that salvation is something that comes freely and in its entirety to any individual who places genuine trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins. The Bible teaches that salvation is a free gift, by grace through faith alone, entirely apart from personal merit or works of righteousness. The Bible teaches that all sins are forgiven , past, present, and future, upon putting saving Faith in Jesus Christ.

Mwc68, if a person stops believing in Jesus Christ then that person has lost their salvation and it is impossible for then to ever receive salvation again.
Once lost always lost.
You can lose your salvation but I would not advise anyone to lose their salvation because they will never receive it again.
I think it would take a lot of effort and a lot of sinning to really lose one's salvation. This is just my opinion of how a person can lose their Faith in Jesus Christ. But once you have lost your Faith in Him you have lost your salvation forever. I think this is what happened to Judas.
