good morning, friends.
been at work for 17 mins, and i'm already tired lol. i've asked Jesus to give me strength to not get frustrated with people.
i did see an elderly lady walk in with cookies to give to the doctor, which means he's going to give them to me (boss can't have sweets).
you know what? i see people bring the doctor all kinds of goodies, but i rarely get them from the patient. what's up with that? suuuuuuuuure he makes them feel better, but hey... if it wasn't for me, they wouldn't get in! hehe

I was up until one last night or I should say this morning texting a friend of mine and we decided we were going to go out for lunch on Friday. It is actually quite a funny story, she is one of my coworkers in the Deli and when we were working together Thursday, we just got along so well it was like we grew up together because like me, she enjoys cooking and cleaning and feels the same way about social media as I do. I never do things like this for myself as I always put others before me.
there must be. i'm always nice to everyone who comes in. smile and friendly conversation lol. only thing i can figure out is the doctor has more time to talk with him verses me just a few mins when they check in/out. i've had patients give me goodies, but not as much as he receives.

In Norway doctors / nurses etc aren't allowed to accept any kinds of gifts

i have no idea lol
my first year here, during christmas season, the elderly ladies would bring us alllllll kinds of pasteries. homemade. and chocolates. gah! but as the years passed by, the goodies during the holidays have decreased. i guess the struggle is real.
maybe they decided to go with the old adage "payment equates to quality of services rendered?"
