1 a.m. 3 drunk kids knocked down my stop sign. They tried to knock down the tree next to it, but that proved more difficult. Totaled out an almost new Ford Explorer. I took my flashlight and phone and walked to the scene. They ran. Called the sheriff. Cops picked up one of the twits on the way. As I was talking to the police, another suv tries to drive by. Cops yelled at them to pull over. Turns out another perp was in the suv. I guess criminals really do return to the scene of the crime.
Didn't get any pics last night. Walked down and got a couple this morn. They left the grill. Man alive, I sure would like to take a nap.

It's amazing that they survived. Thank God they left the grill and not body parts. Good grief.... :p

Yeah, ....they hand "likes" out like candy in this thread.
I once pulled 8 or 9 likes with a one word post.

I will say, that this thread is the best on CC, .....friendly, funny and uplifting.

Now you are just fishing for likes.......lol

What a beautiful lady you are! That must have been an exciting day at the Town Hall. Wow...2000 people!! Do you still play sax for worship, Miri?

Agreed on!

If you knew her, from the inside, I don´t know if you would call her honeypot.

The funny thing I see from these she told is the loving way she used to calm down NERVOUS George...

Can you imagine the big person she really is?

I don´t know if she likes tea instead of coffee but, look at her hands.

Wow! I think I want to fly to meet ppl like this.

I normally don't take them but this week I've suffered major insomnia.

Sorry to hear this...

Dear Father In Heaven

Please help Elizabeth to get some sleep Father as she has been not able to do so for a few days. Please help her to clear her mind at night and think pleasant thoughts of You in heaven.....Help her to bring her troubles to You and lay them at Your feet knowing You are in control...... Help her to rest in Your arms of love and bring her the sleep she needs I pray in Jesus Name Amen.

I played in the worship for nearly 10 years, absolutely loved it, it was such a
privilege to serve the church in this way.

I had to step down last year though due to the pressures of caring for my elderly aunt
and working part time. I hope to go back at some point in the future.

Its hard work as there are rehearsals every Thursday evening, plus we had to get to church for
8am on Sunday's, play through two services and didn't get back home until after 2pm.

Plus there is no worship music for the saxophone so I had to come up with all my own
harmonies and write it up for every song. What little music there is has to be sight transposed
from the key of C into a minor third for George (he is in the key of Eb) and a tone above for Mildred (Bb).

As for the pretty lady thing, ha ha, your kidding me. Honestly compared to most women in the
UK I'm a sac of coal!

Most of the women in the worship team are stunning, I just hide in the background.

So the doctor says i get to bust out of the hospital today. Anyone want to sneak me in power tools to tunnel a hole? Lol, no one would trust me with power tools.

If you have a thing about tea, hands and tea cups, then I know the perfect lady just for you.:D

She has a big house as well.

Transposing the music and figuring out your own harmonies.. my goodness, what a gift you have. Both my sons are musicians and compose music so I can certainly appreciate your hard work.

As for the "sac of coal" reference (which by the way truly hurts my heart :( ) - nobody on this site could deny how you radiate the loveliness of Jesus Christ! And yes, everything from your facial expression to your colorful skirt to your fingers on the sax keys is beautiful because you are YOU!!! And you are our wonderful eternal sister!!!

No! Thanks!

I don´t mind her being old nor her white hair.

This secular franciscan Christian dislikes big houses and those protocols.

Besides, who will be charged to do those chores of cleaning?

I don´t want to fall short.

:P

I agree playing music is such an incredible gift to have. I have played flute for about 15 years and piccolo for about three of those years. The flute has such a beautiful sound and I do love playing it. I even had the opportunity about three years ago to play for a crowd of about 150 people.

You can thank Jubal for that invention.

His (Jabal's) brother was named Jubal; he was the father of all who play the lyre and the flute.

Have you read that, one of our sisters (Angela I guess) also plays it?

Miri played it (too) but, if I´m not too wrong (as often) Angela wrote something on that subject, few hours back.

YAY!!! Make a break for it, Kody!!! \:D/

I would thank God, instead.

He gave us ears...

hands...

He gave us longs, and air to breathe (and women to be inspired) :P
