Oh, and if anyone was wondering how to lose that last-minute weight before going on a trip...just forget to do laundry and scramble around the house, doing laundry, trying to find that one shirt you've been wanting to wear and hope it fits, and overall turn the whole house over before you realize you've made a terrible mess. ....And you still haven't found the shirt.

Sounds like my daughter today. Lol...she is going to Kings Island for 3 days in Cincinatti for a 3 day christian concert. I think its like New Boys or something And Lecrae...u youngins know lol. She is excited backstage passes. She is going to have a blast. She has been runnin around searching laundry today too lilchristian. Lol

Ooooh, I've been to Kings Island once. It was fun. I've been wanting to go to that specific concert. I've been wanting to go for YEARS. But I haven't found a good opportunity to go, and it's very expensive (not that my trip is very cheap...)
Oh and....I will have some internet access while I'm gone. I won't be able to get into chat, but I WILL be able to do Facebook updates

I know I'm late to the party, but honestly? I never notice people with bad attitudes. I'm sure there are people in my world who are less than pleasant. I think I'm a bit of a Pollyanna. I smile at people all the time... I make a concerted effort to catch eyes and smile. BOY does that work! It's rare that I don't get a smile back.
I figure I have this light of Jesus inside of me, and he LOVED people, and I'm one of his people here so I want to show those people that there IS love and they ARE loved and even if I can't spend more time than a genuine smile? That's my ministry for the moment.

Yaaaaayyyy I can do laundry once my sister's husband goes to work. He works 3rd shift, so he'll be leaving soon enough. And then when that happens, I'll continue to clean my room and do my laundry. It may or may not take all night, and I may or may not need a lot of coffee. But since I can't and won't drive, I can sleep on the way there.
I would bet that, whenever you´ve baked, some sugar could be added to make children happier...

i am definitely another pollyanna-ish type (ask anyone who knows me. i am famous for saying things that are kind of vulgar, and rife with inference but go right over my head) but i tend to do the opposite. i focus in on folks who seem to sit on the fringes. you know, the ones who smile but are dying inside? or the folks who are so quiet that people forget them.
i definitely have a heart for those hurting or in pain. and yeah, those with bad attitudes. i hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but i think the best gift that God blessed me with is having a heart for the unloveliest of people. : )
now, someday when i'm in chat, ask me to tell you about the time i spoke at a conference and told all these folks how sorry i was because i spent the morning being drilled by my dentist. : )

i'm an equal opportunity imbibe-r, but i'm more in violakat and cinder's territory.
i love all manner of tea, and tisanes. however, i sort of look at cold brew coffee as a treat. or dessert. i love the smell, but nobody needs to be around me with that much caffeine in my system. i'm way too hyper as it is.
last time i drank a large, iced americano, i swear i was vibrating. it was mildly disconcerting. : )
