This is a real Blond question.....If the one guy got struck down just for touching it wouldn't God kill the other people if they touched it too? Or because they weren't believers it doesn't matter if they touched it?

Just curious as to your thoughts on why o.k. for one people group and not the guy was it Uzzi or Uzza something like that that died for touching it because he wasn't a priest????

What made the Ark untouchable was the presence of God in association with that object. The ark was the mercy seat, the throne, the seat of judgment. When the people forsook God then God abandoned Israel to the nations. His presence was no longer in the temple or anything associated with it. You see this when the Philistines stole the ark from king Saul's army in 1 Samuel 5 and carried it away to Ashdod and brought set it by their god Dagon. None the Philistines died as a result of contact with the ark.

Ya want to try my job I work for a law enforcement agency in the civil service.
It involves telling people off and a lot of mediation between conflicted people!
I just pop my head up every now and then say my piece and duck (kind of like CC :D).
