Dear Father In Heaven

Happy Father's Day.....it has been a little rough down here today Dad....We need You more than ever and I am so sorry if we have hurt You by our actions. We love You and look forward to getting to see You face to face someday soon. Until then please help us out.

Help us to love one another better and keep the debating down to a discussion level. Help us to encourage one another, forgive us for all the fighting on this CC site. Help us to learn to get along and love our enemies or those who hurt us.

Please be with our Brothers and Sisters that are ill. Some are going into the hospital to have procedures done and others are undergoing medicine changes. Some are in pain and deal with disabilities, Father please comfort and give Your peace to them. You know they would love to be healed and they have faith and trust in You and know You have a perfect plan for their lives. Take care of them according to Your will and that plan.

We want to praise You for the blessings we have each day we never seem to thank You enough for all the wonderful things You do for us. Thank You for our loved ones and families our friends. Send Your angels to guard and protect us. We need You and want You to dwell in our hearts.

Help us to become more like Jesus everyday. Please keep us all safe tonight....Thanks Dad.....In Jesus Name Amen......Love You Dad.......Blond

It's amazing that it's 2015, and we still use a simple needle and strong thread to treat injuries in modern medicine. It goes to show even the simplest of things can solve big problems.

I tore open my left wrist a week back and had to get stitches for the first time.
 
Even on father's day, my dad barely speaks to me or looks in my direction as usual... but I always take comfort in the fact that my nonexistent relationship with my earthly father always brings me even closer to my God. :)

I'm really not looking for advice... I just needed to get this off my chest.

I like peaceful too. I like having a settled heart, and to know with all that I am, and all that Jesus says that I am....that EVERYTHING......is as it should be.

Plus you play music too Sirk! That is awesome. There is peace in music. I am a songwriter. I can play piano...but not well. Mostly I sing without music lol

I play guitar every other weekend at church for 3 services. One on Sat night and two on Sunday morning. It is such an awesome time for me to be able to enter Gods throne room like that. All my problems melt away and I get to stand before God and tell Him how good He is and how Grateful I am that He saved me from the pit that I made of my life.
 
So.....I did all the cooking, baking, and barbecuing for my dad for a Father's Day BBQ that I put together. He enjoyed it thoroughly and for that I am thankful. He is just an awesome man who just happens to be my dad. I got my sense of humor and my caring heart from him. I am just blessed. I even washed his car today for him so he wouldn't have to and while I was washing it he asked me if I was a winner and I looked at him funny and said no. He quickly corrected me and said that because I live at home with him makes me a winner in his book. That made me feel so good and today was supposed to be about him:confused:
