I don't understand this either. It is best to just not log in rather that deleting your account. Even if you create a new account there will be many members that don't know who you are. You also lose all of your likes and rep points and green bars.

Jsr...that is sooo true. Im just sticking around to check up on all my loved ones. Nobody can ban me for loving my peeps lol. As far as debates...arguments...I do not want part of all that. I am searching for love and giving my heart to love. Lol...no more sarcasm for me.

i can understand people getting down about all the stuff going on in bdf. i avoid the threads that get people debating, and so, i'm not bothered by them.
it's like this. on fb, someone kept posting things that made person look like a good, christian one, but i knew how person was living life. how person was doing certain things and how person was hurting family. i would comment on person's stuff. my comments would get deleted. i would get upset because on fb person was one way, but in real life, totally different.
person deleted me from fb. now, i don't see anything that is posted. i don't get upset anymore. so in fact, person did me a favor. i just continue to pray person will come back to Jesus.
so, i don't go into those threads cuz it does get overwhelming.

Well I did the health care field specializing in Gerontology for over 20 yrs girly, so I have seen my fair share of nekked men and their wankers! LOL LOL
I know sound Doctrine is supposed to be important. But it's even more important that we lead by our actions. Like I said earlier. Too many people get too comfortable behind a keypad. TR once said to speak softly and carry a big stick. It's disgusting at how far people will treat others just to boast about how much they actually know Scripture.

jsr, i think the rep points represent how much people like and respect your posts. To me, a person with alot of green bars, such as Sarah, JL and psychomom, tells me they're probaby more knowlegeable on certain subjects than someone with only 1 or 2 bars.. no offense..lol..

But wouldn't that be the same for likes, though? Never really noticed the bars or understood why I got a rep point, before. So curiosity is getting to me.
However the good thing about being behind a key pad is you can see what lies in others hearts because ppl generally speak what is really in their hearts in forums due to the fact it's not person to person. What comes from the mouth is from the heart

Rep is basically a way to show how people tend to respect you and are impressed with you but rep doesn't really show the heart and wisdom and the love of God so it's no biggy. But the green bars I have been for for three years and I still haven't figured those out or even how you get them. What do they show do you get them from likes or from the number of posts you make?
