Oh he's most likely serious. But the way he went about it is just...gosh, so ridiculous. Getting on my case, JUST because I said, "Wish me luck!" what should I have said instead? "Prayers appreciated in my search?" Actually, now thinking about it...that would have been really funny. Anyways. Not the point.
He looks like someone who strayed away from the BDF into here somehow...and landed upon my thread. Either way. Tooooo funny.

Oh, he was very serious. I'm not sure about that one. Sometimes he says really good things, but most of the time he says wildly Jesus Juky things or is just completely off-topic.
I'm still laughing about it. 
I should really get some sleep...I probably find this situation a bit TOO funny due to my tiredness.

It's not good for me to spend so much time by myself. I do ok until day 5 or 6, and then I get all emotionally weird. I used to think that I really enjoyed being alone, but that was before the apartment fiasco. Now I just get anxious and cry because there's no Yard Crashers on.
Now that I've typed that out and am looking at it...along with some other "clues"...my goodness, have you ever had a startling realization that explained everything and felt like an idiot for not seeing it sooner?

I met up with the friend that I'll be going to Indy PopCon with for lunch. It was a lot of fun!! We got a game plan going, we had a lot of laughs, and ate Donato's. And it was THE BEST.

You know how when you're planning to meet with friends you haven't seen in a long time, you tell yourself, "I'm going to lose 10 pounds and get more sleep and eat healthy so my skin is clearer and I look better and feel more confident when I see everyone..."
Um, yeah, ok. I have approximately 24 hours in which to accomplish all that.
I'm trying to work away the nervousness... by downing a bag of M&M's.
Do you ever think to yourself, "I wonder if they'll still like me?" even though of course, they're you're friends, and you know they will? But for some silly reason, you still wonder?
Yup, I'm feeling LOTS of that right now. And I haven't slept in 2 days. I'm having bipolar feelings of excitement and nervousness that are just about equally strong and pulling me in totally opposite directions.

Yikes, suddenly my niece and brother want to go to a movie this evening, which I am excited to do, but then, oh wait, its not til 9:45 and I'm like, oh man, is this going to impact my ability for church tomorrow. Well, hopefully not. LOL

TeamViewer is such a blessing. I reeaallyy did not want to make a 20 minute trip to and from my grandmothers house to work on her PC. Now I can do it from home while blasting some Yes!

Meh, so far nothing eventful. Worked a short day, came home and am doing laundry while my wife naps.
Tomorrow should be good though. My pastor is doing a six week series (knowing him it'll become more like seven or ten since it took him almost two years to get through a six month study of Romans) on the biblical roles and responsibilities of men and women. I'm quite sure I'm going to hear a few things that are going to sting over the next few Sundays but that is a good thing.
After church we're going out to lunch with my folks for a combination Father's Day and belated birthdays for both my wife and myself.
As a serious answer to your question Cat, yes, I'm meeting up with some friends.
And they're a really special group of people and I think I know them pretty well, but at the same time, it's going to be like meeting them for the first time, you know?
So there's all this teenage nervousness and feelings such as, "Will I say the right things? Will I fit in? Will they approve of what I'm wearing? (Is a certain member of the group going to have a cooler comic-book character t-shirt than me like he threatened??) How much of myself can I really be? Should I tone it down and just hold back?" and, "I hope they feel comfortable enough to really cut loose around me, because I want them all to be themselves as much as possible!"
Except for this one member of the group. You know how it is--there's one in every crowd! He's kind of of the self-designated troublemaker and has already threatened something about being a supposed nudist. Thank goodness all I have to do is take my glasses off and I'm blind as a bat!
Yup. I'm thinking it might just take all our energy just to keep that one guy in line.
But it's going to be an epic time!
I'm so excited, I'm like that little kid on the ferris wheel who's about to throw up!
