Well, maybe so, but I don't want you to leave. I do, however, want you to stop and think about these things! Eternity is a long time to have to think about why you rejected the truth that was handed to you so freely, but in obstinance, you rejected it.
People who have experienced the new birth need to let the Lord lead them in His word, and when He puts His finger on error that is being believed and followed, they need to make a swift change. This is a sign of spiritual growth. Digging your heels in in defense of your religion, which counters true Christianity, is not wisdom. It is stubborn refusal to heed the truth. It will take you to where you do not want to go in life and in death...but God wants to take you to places you haven't even dreamed of! He wants to use you and your desire to worship in music in even greater ways than you can even hope and think!

The first resurrection has already taken place. It was the resurrection of Christ in which His saints participate so that their souls can enter heaven. Their bodies will follow later at the general resurrection.
There will be no 'Great Tribulation'. That is a Darbyian fantasy. We are already undergoing great tribulation in many part of the world.
Only one resurrection is now due. The general resurrection described in John 5.28-29. The 1000 year kingdom is a myth.

Don't you believe in Christ's resurrection? Is that not a past resurrection? Does not Romans 6.1-11 say we have partaken in it? As also do Eph 2.5-6; Col 3.1.. Hermeneus was not talking about that. He was talking about the general bodily resurrection.
When we die our souls will go to live and reign with Christ in Heaven, to be joined by our bodies at the Second Coming.

That isn’t just the implication it’s the explicit call in the latest from the Vatican: that we need to move to a system of world government:
If Vatican cardinals have yet to join the Occupy Wall Street protesters, a document released by the Holy See calling for a “world authority” to crack down on capitalism suggests some are considering it.

As someone educated and raised a Catholic I can tell you what the problem is here. It’s the otherworldly parts of the Vatican’s worldview.
In an institution which is based upon preparing us for the life after this one that’s no bad thing of course, and continual reminder that we should raise our eyes from the mundane cares of this world and consider our place in the eternity to come. However, it does in fact lead to a certain naivety about what actually happens in this world.
The idea is that we ought to move to something like a beefed up United Nations. A supra-national body capable of:
These measures ought to be conceived of as some of the first steps in view of a public Authority with universal jurisdiction; as a first stage in a longer effort by the global community to steer its institutions towards achieving the common good. Other stages will have to follow in which the dynamics familiar to us may become more marked, but they may also be accompanied by changes which would be useless to try to predict today.In this process, the primacy of the spiritual and of ethics needs to be restored and, with them, the primacy of politics – which is responsible for the common good – over the economy and finance. These latter need to be brought back within the boundaries of their real vocation and function, including their social function, in consideration of their obvious responsibilities to society, in order to nourish markets and financial institutions which are really at the service of the person, which are capable of responding to the needs of the common good and universal brotherhood, and which transcend all forms of economist stagnation and performative mercantilism.
With one proviso I’ve no problem with the basic desire, that the world could indeed be made a better place if the rules by which the world were run were changed and then enforced. My problem comes from the idea that the United Nations, or indeed anything involving politicians, is going to achieve anything like that.
The United Nations has, recently you understand, had the Sudan as a member of the Human Rights Committee, heck it’s even had Libya as the Chair of the Committee (yes, the Ghadaffi era Libya). And that’s what the problem is. Not the desire to make the world a better place, but the idea that politics is going to do so. It’s this phrase that so grates:
the primacy of politics – which is responsible for the common good – over the economy and finance.
Given the spendthrifts, ogres, ignorants, panderers and outright thieves that actually manage to get into the positions where they can run the political process (yes, both democratically elected and self-appointed) we really don’t want to be giving them any more power: actually, we’d rather like to reclaim much of the power they already have, most especially over the economy and finance.
Which is where the Vatican has gone wrong. They’re just not noting how things actually turn out in this vale of tears. They actually think that politics is something done by people of good will and honesty. Something far more ludicrous than anything at all in the official theology.

James 5:20 is not a scripture for purgatory, because purgatory is a made up place that was made up by the Roman Catholic Church.
Purgatory is based on 2 Maccabees which is a book that was not inspired by the Holy Spirit. This book was written by people who did not follow God and is not from God.
The Roman Catholic Church invented Purgatory because they believed God could forgive us of our sins but God was powerless to cleanse us of all our sins. The only way to cleanse oneself of their sins was to spend some time in Purgatory in punishment for their sins. How much time is needed is not addressed by the Roman Catholic Church.

The Roman Catholic Church had its time in the sun to rule the World. Just look at all the evil the Roman Catholic Church did while ruling the World.
Millions upon millions upon millions of innocent people were put to death by the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church ruled with an Iron fist, not with the Love of God.

No Christian who dies goes to hell...we all will go to glory with some unconfessed sin. God doesn't expect us to have a perfect memory of all that we have ever said or son that was wicked. When we come to faith, we are forgiven of all our sin---past, present and future!
Not one single human being will be sent to the Lake of Fire for a sin they've committed. Nope. People will be judged on their righteousness. They will find themselves standing before the Great White Throne of God to be judged as to their position in Christ. Bloodwashed? No? Then he will be deemed unrighteous and there's only condemnation for that person.

Pope John Paul II launched one of the most important diplomatic initiatives of his long papacy yesterday when he called for a new international order to replace the one that emerged from the second world war.Though he did not offer a detailed plan, his words appeared to show he wanted the UN replaced in light of its failure to block the use of force by America in Iraq.
The Pope called last month for the reform of world institutions and deplored any failure to respect international law. But in a sermon during a mass at St Peter's in Rome yesterday, he went much further, referring to the UN as if it were already a part of the past.
"More than ever, we need a new international order that draws on the experience and results achieved in these years by the United Nations," he declared during a service to mark the Roman Catholic Church's World Day of Peace, celebrated on January 1.
He was flanked at the altar by two of his most senior international representatives: the secretary of state, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, and the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, Cardinal Renato Martino, who outraged many Americans last month by expressing "pity" and "compassion" for the captured Saddam Hussein.
The congregation included the heads of all the diplomatic missions accredited to the Holy See.
In his homily, the Pope said the new world order he wanted "would be able to provide solutions to the problems of today ... based on the dignity of human beings, an integrated development of society, solidarity between rich and poor nations, and on the sharing of resources and the extraordinary results of scientific and technological progress."
The Pope believes that not enough of these goals are being achieved with the present system of international organisations that emerged in the late 40s, including the UN, the IMF and the World Bank.
But the central issue, seen from the Vatican's point of view, is the growing irrelevance of a painstakingly constructed body of international law which is being ignored by the US administration during its "war on terror".
Cardinal Martino first signalled the Pope's disquiet last month when he presented a document written by the pontiff to mark the World Day of Peace. Without naming the US, the Pope warned: "Peace and international law are closely linked to each other: law favours peace". He also pointedly observed that "democratic governments know well that the use of force against terrorists cannot justify a renunciation of the principles of the rule of law".
The Pope acknowledged that current international law was ill-suited to dealing with rebels or terrorists and called for new treaties and reform of the UN. But yesterday's appeal was for an altogether more sweeping change.
With observer status at the UN and a network of diplomats covering 174 countries, the Holy See is in a strong position to lobby for its goals.
Its concerns over US attitudes are unlikely to be assuaged by the latest statement of policy from President George Bush's secretary of state, Colin Powell. In an article for the New York Times yesterday, Mr Powell said: "President Bush's vision is clear and right: America's formidable power must continue to be deployed on behalf of principles that are simultaneously American, but that are also beyond and greater than ourselves."
Senior members of the Catholic Church of England and Wales endorsed the Pope's comments. "We welcome the words of the Vatican and fully support what the Holy See says in this," said Ollie Wilson, a spokesman for the Catholic media office.
They cast doubt however on whether he had meant to imply that the UN had had its day and should be replaced.
Peter Jennings, press secretary to the Most Reverend Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Birmingham, said: "The Pope is a great advocate of the UN."
