nothing like getting a bunch of reasonably intelligent people together to dramatically lower the collective IQ for some reason.

I dislike meetings.
When l use to have them (in large groups) or even now (in much smaller groups)
.........l always feel like they aren't taking me serious.
I wonder why that is?

meetings - all depends who's in the group lol
when i was one of the youth leaders, we had to meet with all the church leaders from time to time. those were boring. but meeting with the other youth leaders? those were a blast. i think it's because we would goof off a lot. it's amazing we accomplished anything lol

I have been in a few meetings and they aren't too bad as long as people make it enjoyable. Although, the career I am finishing my education for will result in some really boring meetings discussing financial statements. I just hope someone in the those meetings have a great a sense of humor.
meetings are always better if there are snacks.
the meetings i go to now are with the sunday school dept. 99% of the time, there will be snacks. maybe because i've mentioned before that i'm always hungry. well see what had happen was...
those meetings are usually on monday, right? and by the time i get home from work, i have no time to eat dinner, so i go to the meeting hungry.i may have mentioned it once.. or twice.

Somehow, snacks and Melita doesn't surprise me. But yes, it is very true it lightens the mood for the meeting. Maybe for Reborn's meetings he should supply everyone with a yogurt, but then again, that won't work because he already won't share his yogurt

Sadly, hubby's car doesn't have A.C... He refuses to get a car with one until HIS car dies... Stubborn mule....
That's what Blond did and I live in Florida.....my Maxima went strong for three summers no air to my dismay and too expensive to fix it on a car that had a few more problems than the air....so as we were heading into summer number 4 which would have been last summer in May the car engine light came on did a few chuga chuga's and I prayed to get home which God graciously allowed and Blond pronounced it Dead.....
I didn't even want to know what the repair cost was for the engine light coming on....it was a 1997 served me well made me suffer in heat for the last three years of it's life......
But eventually they... (the cars)... do die.....there is hope and now I have my 2012 Nissan Rogue and love it especially the air which is really nice and appreciated after three years without it....lol
So by your definition I guess the Blond is a stubborn mule too or were you referring to the car....which it was running like a mule.... I kept saying to it.... (the car).... just die will you please just die....lol
