Fence is getting started tomorrow. Landscaping visions abound ... all neat n' tidy ... and equally important, low maintenance![]()
Did you two have a good chat?![]()
i have a bit of catching up to do.
but i read about Grace...seeing things that are not as if they are!
you're a lucky guy.![]()
This'll be a fun and easy project ... compared to what I used to deal with![]()
we really did! i think he was surprised it was me lol
i saw the caller ID and figured it was his mommy, but knew it was Alex right away.
i said some things, he said some things, back and forth and then he hung up.
i texted his mom, who was making lunch while he played with her phone,
and she called right away....we had a good laugh over it.![]()

That's so cute Ellie. He really wanted to talk to his grandma.![]()
details? or none of my business?![]()
We're leaving one short length of old chainlink on the "far" side of the yard intact ... purposely. Grace wants that area for creativity sake ... and we've already determined what we're going to do there. Reusing an older section of fence that will be centered in it ... painted (likely moss green) along with same colored lattice attached on each side. I'm going to make this section look as if it is an old swing gate that's always been in the garden ... and landscape it accordingly. This backyard is small so we want to be careful not to make it look "too boxed in". We'll make it pretty for sureMy last home was a half an acre ... in the city. Everything was "large scale". This is more fun than work
.
Ellie, I see you read through that thread.![]()
sounds like it'll be really beautiful!
i have no creativity or imagination. just leave all that to Mark.
(Mr. flowering plants and solar lights lol)
gah! lol
just a wee bit... i tire easily these days.![]()
Small and low maintenance does sound beautiful, doesn't it ? .... lol Wished I could pretend that I have no creativity or imagination like you do ... you lil' sneak ... lol![]()
lol...it's true. yesterday i was trying to think of some new way to cook chicken in the crock pot.
i mixed some thousand island dressing and apricot jam with a little onion....
er, people ate it?![]()
Yeah that kind of wore me out.
The sad part is I am not sure it did any good. (A bit discouraged last night)![]()
Did you like it?![]()
i'm sorry!
and you were so brave. ♥
we lost power at about 5 yesterday afternoon, and it wasn't restored till almost midnight.
