Thankfully no, I was so happy when no more sirens went off. lol I stayed up late last night though just to be sure, and my brother stayed the night over at my place just in case the weather did get bad. He stays on my couch... Apparently he sleeps better on my couch than he does currently. Bless his heart, he has so much stress on his shoulders about his apartment and flooding in his neighborhood. Sigh... Oh well. God is good and will take care of him and he knows that :)

I do believe that Romans is my personal favorite book :). Have a Sunday evening reception and dinner tonight for my niece who was married in Mexico last weekend. Thinking of gifting them in Peso's because the numerical value would look so much better on paper :rolleyes:. Beautiful Sunday morning here. Going out to join Grace for a quick coffee in the backyard where she's sitting and observing the "lovely" wood framed dirt area prepared for the new cement patio and new garden shed ... the soon to come wooden privacy fence and the future landscaping to follow. Funny gal ... and cute to observe. She's already going on about how "nice it looks" ... although none of it's actually done yet ... lol That's my girl ... lol :cool:

Plenty of sirens in my neighborhood last night. River is higher than it was last time. My yard took a beating. Gonna have to haul some dirt soon.
There is wide spread flooding in Oklahoma this morning, I guarantee!

So while looking for a shirt I lost, I came across my old university stuff. I would write what I got on tests, and looking back I know why I finished with a GPA of a 2.87 (which is a B-). Just in my marriage class alone, my first two test grades were 38 and 64. Forensic psych I would have quiz grades in the 50s and 60s. Finished with a B - in marriage and B+ in forensic, but I guess I never was as good a test taker as I liked to have thought :/ *Sigh* Ohh well. Good Sunday morning to y'all!

2 of my mutts found a breach this morn. Got them back. Walking across my lawn is like walking on a wet sponge. That's all I can do until it dries enough to get my pickup in the yard to put down some dirt.

Now this isn't a good pic, but if you'll look you can see what's going on. The water is flowing across the front yard, my shop drive, and down the back of the shop. Notice the rain running off the deck roof.
And this, as you can tell, was still daylight. Long before it started really raining. :p

Skylove, I live with my mom and take care of her too. So I spend everyday with her. :)

She can still get around somewhat,and do a few things around the house. She's blind in one eye and can't drive anymore. She's stating to get a bit more forgetful and she's having a harder doing some of the things she used to do. :(

No, I haven't heard a thing. I'm sorry to say I'm fairly new and didn't know them well. I do miss Violetreigns...and where's my girl FridaysChild?
Lol...I once heard FridaysChild say CC was addictive lol...perhaps they took a break. The craziness at times in forums can be overwhelming. I'm on a lot because I'm off work temporarily. I'm unmarried,..I have no small children to tend to. But I'm just loving and enjoying my best friends here now. While I have the time, before I start working again. :)
