This is a 'troll' moment, but I just chose to give in to the temptation (couldn't resist isn't accurate):

Reese, with all the nuts I seem to be juggling right now, I rather welcome the thought of a kind, sweet troll like you! :)

P.S. Be sure to write me back!!!"
Kim, I suggest that you include an Annexure-I which will be a form to fill out his contact details, his hobbies, his feedback on your proposal, his aspirations, the top 5 priorities in his life, etc. Perhaps you can also add "Enclosed herewith is the draft of the agreement which is to be signed between both mutually consenting parties."

Not to mention all the fine print saying he can't retaliate if I begin to stalk him... in a literary sense, of course. I mean, how can one 25-page email be considered stalking???!! After all, it's only ONE email.

If I broke it down and sent it page by page... 25 emails might send out red flags.

I totally agree with you. Best to get all the legal waivers taken care of right away. I especially like the phrase, "Mutually consenting..." This seems to automatically rule out any chances of a restraining order. Good thinking!

(Now I realize why I don't have crushed. They're just so much work. Not to mention legal trouble.)

Ah, but I can't help it if I'm overzealous when it comes to love! (And writing.)

Actually, the truth is, in real life, people usually make me out to be the Designated Listener. The reason why I write so much is because it's really the only time I get to have the chance to "talk".

I understand where you come from, because I also prefer to think through everything before pursuing the relationship. When it comes to love, I'd rather let my mind process it as much as possible before my heart takes over!

Hmm.. Now that your proposal is ready, we can start working on your bait. :p

And if I were to meet you sometime, somewhere, I'd prefer to let you do all the talking. But that's only because I'll be busy wolfing down everything at an all-you-can-eat buffet while I periodically mumble "mhmm? Is that so?" between mouthfuls of food.

Alas, Asifin. Not a single one. :)

The two crushes I've had over the years... their hearts went in different directions. It's a lot like you described in your earlier post. Maybe there was some mild interest from either direction but it wasn't at the same time or just didn't work out, or we just weren't compatible, were in different places in life, etc. (the fact that I don't plan on having kids is a huge factor, cuts out the majority of equations).

I just figure, if God wants something to happen... He'll kick me along. In the mean time, I get to hang out, practice all my bad puns, and banter back and forth with all the lovely people here on CC. ;)

Have I ever mentioned I like the way you think, Roh? :)

A buffet??? You just mentioned one of my dream dates. Neither one of us would do much talking. Except for arguing over who gets the last portions of our favorite foods.

Have I ever mentioned that you repeat yourself too often? :p

Actually, I am entitled to the last portion of my favourite food because I was the patient listener. ;)

Hey, that's how I go through life!

Clearly you're not going to spill it.

Are you guys going to make me do something crazy to keep this thread alive? I haven't thought out what that's going to be, but it will be crazy. Probably something involving like... I don't know... soup.

Why isn't Ugly's lady friend like... front page news on the singles forum?
Because nobody cares =P

Hold up here.... just hold on. Aren't crushes admiration that seems improbable to move into relationship - or admiration that the other person doesn't know about yet?

If not? If it's something more, I don't know anyone well enough to have a crush on 'him'. I often will read a man's writing and think: Wow. What a neat/interesting/intriguing Godly man. (Something like THAT, Lord. Good job!)

Well, I guess one can have a crush that could never ever possibly lead to something else... in which case I've got a lot more than three of them on here!

But if I had a crush that could lead to something else... it'd be something that lead to something, or something like that. Something.

I have a crush on Ugly!!! Yes, I'm visiting him this week!! hehehehe
Oh... snap!

I've only seen his eyeball.

Ask Debbie Harry. She had a crush on Denis, Denis.
