If you ARE saying the Bible is from the Roman Catholic Church then why is the Bible saying Mary was a sinner? Truly if the Bible was from the Roman Catholic Church then the Bible would have said Mary was sinless. But since the Bible clearly states that Mary was a sinner proves the Bible is NOT a Roman Catholic Book!


The Bible is from the Holy Spirit and was written by the Holy Spirit!

Mwc68 if you truly believe the Bible is from the Roman Catholic Church why then do you ignore the Truth in it from the Holy Spirit to teach lies from the Roman Catholic Church? The very fact that your Church teaches Mary was sinless proves the Bible came from God and not from the Roman Catholic Church.

We dont teach that the Blessed Mary was sinless, she was born without Adam's sin. I wish ya'll would get that straight. You claim the Holy Spirit leads you to truth, yet over 30, 000 protestant denoms all claim the same thing. You have no truth except what you make up

As you will realise our problem is that we listen to Jesus rather than the Pope. It was Jesus who excluded the seven books from the Jewish canon. Who are we to argue with Him?

The Council of Nicea did not give us the current Bible. Even your basic historical facts are wrong.


In fact of course GOD gave us the current Bible, having shown us through Jesus that we had to leave out the apocrypha. Jesus confirmed the OT canon. The church treated the first three Gospels, Acts, Paul's letters and Peter's letters as Scripture before 70 AD (see above post). John's Gospel and letters followed soon afterwards.

All the council did was AGREE their apostolic authorship. The doubts were in the later church, not the early church. The early church KNEW who had written what.

yes the Lord Chancellor was in overall charge of justice. So no burning of so-called heretics could take place without his say-so. It was a major capital 'crime'. Thus the punishment had to have his blessing. Consequently he WAS directly responsible for all six burnings.

It's always matter of redacting history: it didn't happen, or it wasn't that bad. I suppose if one can make up their own faith, why not your own history? But it's like some German, doing an apologetic for the holocaust, or denying it. On the other hand, I have known a couple Catholics who openly called me a heretic and said heretics deserved what they got back then, approved of torture and murder, Bible burning, as we just can't know what scripture says, without a Roman mackerel snapper. I suspect many are torturing and burning us, behind our backs. To think they still breathe among us.

Come on Valint, that is really rude! I dont come at you like that! Anyway, the Bible doesn't tell us which books should be in the Bible. There must have been some authority in how the books were authenticated, and arranged. The Church in 382 AD the Council of ROME, issued an official declaration of acceptance, a list for the current 73 books of the Bible, 46 OT and 27 NT. At the Hippo Council of 393 AD, this same list was reaffirmed and decreed as Sacred Scripture. 397 AD, the Council of Carthage reaffirmed the same list of 73 books which became the Holy Bible. The Church (Catholic) under the guidance of the Holy Spirit arranged the Holy Bible as we have it today, 73 books. It remained unchanged for 1100 yrs until Luther, a man with no authority, changed the list and began a mass delusion that there are only 66 books in the bible. Luther had no authority since the Church was one Church and he was one man. The Church has always had the authority in these matters ever since the letters and gospels were collected and a list was established.
