Sorry you woke up with a tummy ache Sky hope it is better now.....I am doing fine and dandy....plan to be in the pool this afternoon for a few hours....

I need everyone to please pray for my and Jerry's friend Beverly she teaches our Sabbath School class and we are studying Revelation right now. I took her yesterday for her first chemo treatment and wished I could have stayed with her but the hippa laws (sorry spelling) won't allow me to stay with her it was a 6 hour treatment so I ran around doing whatnot while she got the chemo....took her home around 3:30. She had cancer in her uterus about 4 years ago and they thought they had gotten it all then, but she now has several spots of cancer in her lungs and they give her about a 30% chance.....

We know God is bigger and better than a 30% chance...anyhow soliciting prayers for Beverly....I am glad I don't work and can take her to most of the treatments....we live close together and I am happy to do it... Her 90 year old Mother lives with her, but her Mom is really good and gets around really well.....That is where I was yesterday out and about with Beverly and her Mom.....

but in spite of the sun shining on my back, and the birds singing,
and the sound of distant commuters, and Mark's about ready to leave...

I wish it was warm enough here to sit outside for a while (It's still only 39 degrees F this morning) :p

I can hear the birds singing outside this morning though. :)

It seems God has made me, someone who's not a natural-born leader, co-lead/micro-manage support for my friends involved in the fallout. And there are a lot of friends involved in this. And then there's friends taking pot-shots at us, believing we're taking sides and gossiping. In truth, we've been praying so hard for each other, for everyone, for God's truth to be revealed.

Christian, i don't know if you'll get back to see this, but as i was praying last night (here :))
light shining in dark places revealing the truth is one thing i asked the Lord for.
and peace...for you and the others in this spot.

i know you don't consider yourself a leader, but i think there must be something about you...
an emotional strength you may not realize you've been given, and the heart of the Lord,
that makes people feel you are trustworthy and will be there for them.

i can't think of a gift more valuable to the Body in times like this.
i understand it's draining, and i know you'll use it wisely.

Good Morning everyone, It's finally Friday... Long busy day ahead, and thankful for what the good lord has blessed me with today. A wonderful caring and loving husband, a great job that I can keep growing in, and a savings account that will eventually be big enough for us to move into our first HOUSE!!!!

Btw... Still working on the caffeine intake ;)
