Is physical hurt better, worse, or comparable to mental or emotional anguish?
Not talking about, "dang I missed the ice cream man"..but real distress.
I have experienced them all, have you and what was hardest for you to deal with?

Honestly, for me, l think physical pain is soooo much easier to handle, over emotional pain.
Emotional doesn't stop, drags on into everything you do.

do you think it may depend a little on the person?
and the level of experience with each for that person?

i've seen burn patients being debrided in the treatment room, and though that pain does eventually stop...

er...i wouldn't like it. :(

No physical pain I have ever dealt with has come close to being as bad as emotional pain. There might be some physical pain that could change my mind, but I am not eager to experience it.

I've had emotional pain that nearly killed me. I've had physical pain, agonizing pain which nearly killed me. After spending November 2014- March 2015 almost entirely in bed every day 24-7, in such excruciating pain, I would trade physical pain for emotional any day..

I know that for me.....I still find things that I have to mourn. There are things in my past that I miss....regrets that I have of things I wish I'd have done differently. With physical pain it heals and you have a visible scar. With emotional pain....the scar isn't always visible and often times is still an open wound.
